There are different types of meats but each and everyone will desire to consume what is best for him or her for personal reasons. Most people will go in to consume a particular meat because of the taste , the process involved in preparing that particular meat, Nutritional value and health wise.With no waste of time I will be sharing my own favorite meat recipe.It’s my traditional meal or meat call khati khati (Roasted cooked chicken with Red palm oil). Ingredients and Quality for Khati khati meat recipe (Roasted kitchen and fried with palm red oil

This particular khati khati meat recipe is one of my favorite recipe.Also, I find pleasure most in eating this meal.It’s our traditional meal in my village of origin.When prepared it’s eaten together with Cooked huckleberry and Fufucorn.Am going to explain the ingredients needed, method of cooking khati khati and What it’s eaten with as a meal.

These are the various ingredients needed for to prepare a good khati khati meat.

  • 1 kilograms of kitchen
  • 400grams of Red palm oil
  • Salt according your taste
  • 3 cubes of Maggi
  • 3 round country onions

Method Use in preparing khati khati

Step1

Slice your chicken in desired sizes that you want.Either large or small.Make sure you wash it well.

Step2

After washing your chicken slices put it on the pan dryer.Allow it for 20minutes for the water stock in the meat drained well for easy roasting.

Step3

Apply small quantity of read palm oil .Atleast 100 grams especially for one kilogram of chicken meat.Then add in one maggi ,salt of your taste and your grind country onions and mixed well with your clean hands.Light in your fire, it can be fire site or charcoal put. When hot start roasting your chicken on it.

Step4

When roasting try to control the flame of the fire, so that your chicken should not get burn but it should have a good attractive roasted chicken color. That can look appetizing,this the out cone of me roasted khati khati.

Step5

Put your clean put on the fire, when it’s hot put in your ,Red palm oil, then add in your roasted chicken, country onions, Maggi and salt.Fry it for a while for spices to assimilate in the roasted chicken well.Put abit of water, it’s does not needs much water.After 10 minutes khati khati meat is ready for consumption.

This particular khati khati is eaten with cooked huckle berry and fufucorn.This a my traditional meal called khati khati and fufucorn when combined.It’s should be noted you are not only bound to eat khati with huckleberry and fufucorn.This can be eaten with any other vegetable

In Africa there is that believed by most people your traditional meal should be the best meal before any other meal.Growing up in my native village Khati khati is one the meals I consume on daily basis as my traditional meal .This make me to cultivate the love for my traditional meal, because of it nutritional value and the taste of the aroma in it when eating .For this reason khati khati has remain one of my best meat recipe.
