What do you think are the main reasons for Youth to become addicted to drugs?




1. Peer pressure: it is one of the major challenge in our society, of which majority of our teens and youths are reportedly been seen involved in drugs or alcoholic cunsumption due to the pressure from their friends.


2. Self medication and Escape
In this area most partake, involve or indulge in this act to mostly overcome depressions and mental health symptoms.

3. To improve performance: Most Youths take this drugs to overcome peer pressure, and extra-circular activities.

4. Experimentation:
Most youth's, and teens are curious to know the taste and functions of these drugs to their body.

5. Feelings of Grown up:
Must teens are excited when the realize that they are above teenage age, they feel should or the "have the right" to do whatever the like. So they end up taking these things.

- Drug Addiction has gotten to or is at a high climax in our society today. Most of these drugs includes;
-Cocane.
-Smooking of cigarettes.
-Canabis
And many others which are being passed or consumed through injections, inhalation, swallowing , such as tablets. Too much intake of alcoholic drinks. On the other hand, I think it is very possible to prevent it , so as it's of great importance to prevent drug addiction.


- They are various ways of preventing these youth from becoming drug addicts.
I. Counselling session: parents and guardians are to carry out thear roles in counseling the youths or their children in these aspect.


II. Proper educational systems to create and educate youths on the dangers and effects of being a drug addict.


III. Doctors prescription also matters to which, the number of doses should be taken.

IV. Abstainance from drug should be practiced by the youth..
