Friends, in the last graffiti post, I gave an opaque hint about where I would go next, mentioning Blokhin Street. Those of you who are familiar with the geography of the Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg and love the rock band "Kino", of course, know that in the house No. 15 on Blokhin Street there was the same coal boiler house called "Kamchatka", where the leader of Kino, Viktor Tsoi, worked as a stoker from the autumn of 1986 to 1988.
Друзья, в прошлом граффити-посте я дала непрозрачный намёк на то, куда отправлюсь дальше, упомянув улицу Блохина. Те из вас, кто знаком с географией Петроградского района Петербурга и любит рок-группу "Кино", конечно, знают, что в доме №15 по улице Блохина располагалась та самая угольная котельная под названием "Камчатка". Лидер "Кино" Виктор Цой проработал здесь кочегаром с осени 1986 по 1988 год.
But, I note, he was not the only one: so, another no less legendary figure for Russian rock, who also, alas, passed away early, Alexander Bashlachev, also worked here...
Но, замечу, не он один: так, здесь же какое-то время трудилась и другая не менее легендарная для русского рока личность, также, увы, рано ушедшая из жизни - Александр Башлачёв...
"Kamchatka" eventually turned into a place of pilgrimage for fans of Viktor Tsoi and "Kino". Of course, there is no boiler room for a long time, there is a club-museum in its premises, where you can see museum exhibits (personal belongings of Tsoi, Bashlachev, Mike Naumenko), listen to music, including the own of young musicians, finally, drink beer and buy something to remember.
"Камчатка" со временем превратилась в место паломничества поклонников Виктора Цоя и "Кино". Котельной, разумеется, давно уж нет, в ее помещении размещается клуб-музей, где можно посмотреть музейные экспонаты (личные вещи Цоя, Башлачёва, Майка Науменко), послушать музыку, в том числе и собственную молодых музыкантов, наконец, выпить пива и купить что-то на память.
If we talk about the yard, then, of course, everything is drawn and written there. As for me, there is not much graffiti here, mostly pure vandalism. The four-meter mural shown in the first two photos appeared here a year ago, on the 30th anniversary of the tragic death of Viktor Tsoi, its authors are the Urbanfresco team. There are also a few other interesting images, but for the most part they are just inscriptions left by people, in which they tell where they are from, when they visited here and, of course, that they remember and love Viktor.
Если же говорить о дворе, то, конечно, там всё изрисовано и исписано. Как по мне, граффити тут немного, в основном чистой воды вандализм. Четырехметровая фреска, показанная на первых двух фото, появилась здесь год назад, к 30-летию со дня трагической гибели Виктора Цоя, её авторы - команда Urbanfresco. Есть и еще несколько интересных изображений, но. по большей части это просто надписи, оставленные людьми, в которых они сообщают, откуда они, когда здесь побывали и, конечно, что они помнят и любят Виктора.
