CONTEST: // TOPIC OF THE WEEK No32// HOW FAR DO YOU LIVE FROM WHERE YOU WERE BORN.

Greetings everyone.

Today's topic of the week is about how far I live from where I was born. Thanks to @slon21veka for organizing the contest and I invite @mutzsimon and @starrchris to take part.

I am a uganda both by birth and by nationality. I was born in Wakiso district in Gayaza specifically in a village called Manyangwa. Currently am not staying there because I and my parents relocated when I was 5years. My mother had just come back from Nairobi and my father was present with me. We relocated from Gayaza Manyangwa to Kampala district which is about 15.2kilometers.

Wakiso district and Kampala are not far apart. It is a 30minute ride from Manyangwa to Kampala which is less tiring because you don’t have to sit in the ride for more than an hour unless there is a heavy traffic.

Incase I am to travel using a SafeBoda, it costs 7,375 to 8,375 Ugandan shillings which is approximately 2 to 3 dollars.

From then till today I am staying in Kampala with my family. It has been long ever since I visited my village to see my grandparents though we talk via phone calls at times. I usually visit during the Christmas period and then leave after the festive season.

In Conclusion, I don’t stay very far from where I was born. It is just 15.2 kilometers and a 30minute ride distance.

Thanks again @slon21veka.
