Hoy vengo a contarles una historia muy linda, donde se demuestra que con amor todo es posible. La historia de Simba un perrito rescatado. Aquí vamos!

Simba es un perrito de la raza Yorkshire Terrier, hace poco más de un año y medio fue rescatado por mi vecina de una autopista en la salida de mi ciudad Cumaná.
Desde hace algún tiempo, a raíz de la situación actual del país (vivo en Venezuela), el abandono de mascotas se ha vuelto un hecho muy cotidiano.🙁
Lamentablemente muchos animalitos son abandonados y las personas que cometen ese acto tan cruel se excusan alegando que no pueden mantenerlos o que se van del país y no pueden llevarlos con ellos. Nunca entenderé y mucho menos estaré de acuerdo con un acto tan desalmado.
Simba is a puppy of the Yorkshire Terrier breed, a little over a year and a half ago he was rescued by my old neighbor from a highway at the exit of my city Cumaná.
For some time, due to the current situation in the country (I live in Venezuela), the abandonment of pets has become a very daily fact🙁. Unfortunately, many animals are abandoned and the people who commit this cruel act excuse themselves by claiming that they cannot keep them or that they are leaving the country and cannot take them with them. I will never understand, much less agree to such a heartless act.
Mi vecina Geraldine fue testigo de cómo alguien sin sentimientos arrojaba al perro desde la ventana de su auto y se marchaba, el perro muy desorientado corría en zigzag en la vía, gracias a Dios 🙏🏻no se acercaban autos en ese momento.
Mi vecina bajo de su auto, lo llamo varias veces pero él estaba asustado, después de unos 10 minutos logro acercarse y tomar al perro. Cuando se acercó noto que el perrito tenía un ojo lesionado y al tomarlo en brazos se dio cuenta del bajo peso que tenía, aunque por su pelo era difícil de distinguir su delgadez.
Fue así como Simba llego a nuestro edificio, lo conocimos ese día y desde ahí robo los corazones de todos, aunque estaba muy asustado no dejaba de mover su colita en el estacionamiento. 😍
Ayude a mi vecina y le dimos un baño largo, donde notamos que tenía varios nudos en su pelo y también unas cuantas pulgas, estaba sediento y hambriento; le dimos comida y el perrito se arrincono debajo de una silla y se quedó dormido.
Sin perder tiempo al día siguiente ella lo llevo a un veterinario, que le dijo que Simba por su tamaño probablemente tenía 2 años de edad perruna y que la lesión del ojo por la forma la tenia desde hace tiempo, le colocaron unas vacunas, le recetaron vitaminas y le dieron tips a Geraldine para el cuidado de su alimentación, ojo afectado y también de su pelaje.🐶
My neighbor Geraldine witnessed how someone without feelings threw the dog from the window of his car and left, the very disoriented dog ran zigzag on the road, thank God 🙏🏻 no cars were approaching at that time.
My neighbor got out of her car, I called him several times but he was scared, after about 10 minutes he managed to approach and take the dog. When she approached, she noticed that the puppy had an injured eye and when she took him in her arms she realized how low he was, although because of his hair it was difficult to distinguish his thinness.
That is how Simba came to our building, we met him that day and from there he stole everyone's hearts, although he was very scared he would not stop wagging his tail in the parking lot. 😍
I helped my neighbor and we gave her a long bath, where we noticed that she had several knots in her hair and also a few fleas, he was thirsty and hungry; We gave him food and the little dog cornered under a chair and fell asleep.
Without wasting time, the next day she took him to a veterinarian, who told him that Simba was probably 2-year-old dog due to his size and that the eye injury due to the shape he had had for a long time, they gave him some vaccinations, they prescribed him vitamins and gave Geraldine tips for the care of her diet, the affected eye and also her coat.🐶
En ese momento el perrito aun no tenía un nombre oficial, ese día en el camino de regreso del veterinario Geraldine escucho en la radio la canción Hakuna-Matata 🎵, la canción oficial de la película del Rey León, de ahí viene el nombre de Simba.
Geraldine adopto a Simba, lo llevo a su casa y lo convirtió en parte de su familia. A él no le costó mucho adaptarse, ahora vive feliz y rodeado de amor, pues se convirtió en él bebe de la casa.🥰
A veces los cambios inesperados pueden ser fuertes pero finalmente siempre resultan positivos de acuerdo a como afrontemos la situación. 💖
Simba fue muy afortunado, gracias a Dios se encontró a Geraldine en su camino, que fue muy generosa y lo salvo de un destino trágico si hubiera continuado en aquella autopista.
Actualmente es un perro sano y muy cariñoso, un buen amigo de mi hija Lucia, aunque a veces le huye porque lo vuelve loco. 🤣
At that time the puppy still did not have an official name, that day on the way back from the vet Geraldine heard on the radio the song Hakuna-Matata 🎵, the official song of the Lion King movie, hence the name Simba.
Geraldine adopted Simba, she brought him into her home and made him part of her family. It did not take him long to adapt, now he lives happily and surrounded by love, as he became the baby of the house. 🥰
Sometimes the unexpected changes can be strong but finally they always turn out to be positive according to how we face the situation. 💖
Simba was very lucky, thank God he met Geraldine on her way, she was very generous and saved him from a tragic fate if she had continued on that highway.
He is currently a healthy and very affectionate dog, a good friend of my daughter Lucia, although sometimes she runs away because he drives him crazy. 🤣
Debemos concientizar a las personas de que las mascotas son seres humanos, con sentimientos, y con derecho a una vida digna, por favor si no puedes tenerlos consígueles un hogar adoptivo pero no los abandones a su suerte.💖
Espero que la historia de Simba también sirva de ejemplo para aquellas personas que deciden comprar en vez de adoptar mascotas, hay muchos animalitos abandonados dispuestos a dar y recibir mucho amor en las calles. 💖

We must make people aware that pets are human beings, with feelings, and with the right to a dignified life, please if you cannot have them, get them a foster home but do not abandon them to their fate.💖
I hope that Simba's story also serves as an example for those people who decide to buy rather than adopt pets, there are many abandoned animals willing to give and receive a lot of love on the streets.💖
