Senior High School Learning Kiosk
Good day my dear steem friends and fellow steemians! Another glorious day to be enjoyed and give thanks for we are all bless with the gift of life.
Today I will share to you a graffiti wall located in one of the schools in the City of Lapu-Lapu Philippines. The name of the school is Babag National High School. Yes! This school is the place where I teach for almost 12 years and counting. I'm proud to present to you this graffiti wall because of its unique purpose. It is simply made from different hand paint colors and yes, this is our own hands, the faculty and teachers of Babag National High School-Senior High School Department. We made a learning kiosk in which students can have place where they can read and study, at the same time we made a pledge to fulfill our professional mandate as teacher's which is to teach and improve the quality of education. Another special value added to this graffiti, is the culture we made to inspire our students to do their best in their studies and even in contest. Those students who have won in different contest and have done an excellent achievement in their studies will have their hands imprinted in our graffiti wall. This is something that they can be proud of as students because they were able to make a legacy.
Graffiti wall have been part in engaging our students through arts at same time learning the concepts, ideas and principles. This is another technique that we employ so that we can address the multiple intelligences of our students. Every graffiti wall in our school has its cultural and educational value.
This graffiti wall emphasizes that as humans we should be good all the time. It is the natural order that man is good and follow.
The historical landmark in the Queen City of the South, it marks the birth of Christianity. The world famous "Sinulog festival" is also depicted.
This graffiti wall illustrates the bridge that connects mainland Cebu to Lapu-Lapu City. It also emphasized the strong faith of the people of the divine intervention of mother Mary. The image of "Birhen sa Regla" which untold how mother Mary sacrifice her life for Jesus.
This graffiti wall illustrates the traditional Filipino way of living, which showcase simplicity and humility.
