Welcome to my blog, regarding to my achievement-5 and the pro-minnow project by @cryptokannon and @steemcurators i would love to bring to your understanding on one of the steem tools that was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich. it is an amazing tool, it does not require KYC(know your customer) unlike other crypto exchanges. journey with me as i will expain briefly how the tool works.
My Review of Steemscan.com
this great tool was developed by two known steemians. their primary aim of developing this app is to offer users the ability to exchange their cryptocurrency into fiat. like i said earlier this tool does not require KYC(know your customer) it has a nice interface and user friendly
Steemscan is an exchange platform that was build for changing steem into other cryptocurrency and it works with the blockchain. currently, steemcan can be used to convert steem into three other currencies; USDT, BTC and TRX.
To access this tool visit steemscan.com. you will be taken to the home interface. below is an image example. on the home page you will see a toolbar for search where you can find
- Accounts
- Transactions
- Witnesses or
- Blocks
immediately you click the steem/usd that is at the top right corner of the home interface. by clicking it you can decide to switch to any currency you want. below is an image example after you might have clicked the steeem/usd
Latest Transactions/Blocks
This block displays the latest transactions/blocks that is being carried out by other users, the above image shows some transactions that has been made by other users
Quick Convert
if you want to exchange steem to other cryptocurrency from the home page, click on menu and then click on quick convert.
You can then enter the amount of steem that you would like to exchange with any of these currencies;
- USDT
- BTC and
- TRX.
After selecting the preferred crypto you will then provide your receiving wallet. Then execute the oder and lastly enter your steem active in the pop up page to finalize the order. It too easy to carry out. Actually there is a network fee of approximately 1usd for any transaction that is been made
Witnesses
The voting of witnesses has been made easier with this platform's 'Witness' feature within the homepage. Visit the platform and locate this feature and click on it. When the list of witnesses pops up as shown below, then you vote. Its very very easy.
DApps
This oulines various decentralize apps(DApps) that can be quickly accessed and utilized by other steemians. Examples include:
- DTube
- TravelFeed
- SteemHunt.
- Actifit
- steempeak
- peakD etc
