Until now, I am still excited to make 3 posts of my achievements, this time with the theme "what is plagiarism".
Plagiarism is taking or plagiarizing works, essays, or opinions, etc. from other people and making them into their own essays or works. Plagiarism is a criminal act because it steals the copyrights of others and the perpetrator can get heavy penalties. Perpetrators of plagiarism are called plagiarists.
Actions taken without the permission of the original creator of the work or essay in my opinion are fraudulent and I understand that this is a crime.
As a steemit user who strictly prohibits plagiarism in every article, so I really avoid copy-pasting on other people's works and writings because this can stop your status and also you can be marked as a thief.
Taking other people's work without including references, displaying existing writings or content as our work, without adding quotes in paragraphs, all can be said as plagiarism.
In creating content and to avoid plagiarism, I always try to do the following:
• Include citations, namely providing information from where the information was obtained.
• Paraphrase words
• Interpretation
