It has been an amazing learning process for me beginning from achievement 1 up to this point. Achievement 5 task 4, I will be making a review of #steemdb.io.
What is SteemDb?
SteemDb is a block explorer and database for the Steem Blockchain. To visit this site, click the link Steemdb.io. The landing page will display a menu bar with different tabs which I will navigate. I will try to make sure you don't get lost along the line. Below the menu bar, I'm going to get through the various live chart of the steem/bitcoin prices on the blockchain market. This is not the only feature on this tool as I will share with you the various features I discovered on Steemdb.

- 30-Day MVest Distribution
The live chart provided information on the stake distribution by the blockchain. This specifies the percentage distribution to authors, curation, interest as well as witnesses. These values are in Mega Vests(MV) hence, placing your cursor on the value of interest will bring out the exact value on either one of them.
- Recent Blockchain Activity
After the '30-Day MVest Distribution, just bellow is the Recent blockchain activity'. Here I can access all the various recent activities within this blockchain. It is live and it provides updates on every single activity going on such as votes, comments, transfers, comment options, claiming of account balance, etc.
- How to check the different activities: Posts, Votes, Reblogs, Replies, Reblogs, Rewards, Transfers, etc. using steemdb.io?
Under the Recent Blockchain Activity, you can see the most recent activities, the number of transactions. Each irreversible blook is made up of a number of transactions and operations. Under the operations, I can check the number of votes, comment, transfer etc
- Metrics
Give you the Witness Parameters, global properties, and statistics per MVest
Accounts

On top of the homepage, I found the 'accounts' section. In this section, I will find the tabulated form of user accounts on this blockchain. It is well sorted in order of preference and can be filtered according to richlist, post, social, and reputation. The richlist also has a clickable drop-down arrow which draws out a drop-down menu when clicked. These subsections (vest, sbd, steem, and power down) enables this richlist to be sorted out in descending order based on the filtered item.

Here, I can view the highest-earning posts for the day within the steemit ecosystem. It is sorted and arranged in descending order of the most earnings. I also noticed can filter to view the most voted post.
Witnesses

The witnesses section shows me the various witnesses I can find within this blockchain and it is arranged in order of votes. It also inculcates vital categories like history which shows all the relevant historical information associated with the various witnesses.
Labs

The last feature I'm going to talk about here in steemdb is the 'lab' tool. It enables users to know of all the various experimental projects that are not yet embedded in steemdb. This also serves as the testing grounds for projects that we might see on steemdb in the nearest future.
After going through #steemdb.io, I found it very beneficial as It creates live blocks of current operations which is quite precise and straightforward. It provides the relevant details of account holding the most reputations, steem, posts, vote, and so on. It provides a chart of the top witnesses on the chain and their histories as well. It provides a lab of experimental projects which may be seen on steemdb in the future.
