It is of utmost importance that before diving to the body of our text, we should first have a basic introduction of what a skill is.

1. Technical skills
   This is the ability to use a special proficiency or expertise to perform a particular job. It can also be defined as the use of tools and techniques of a particular trade or profession. Accountants, Engineers, Market researchers, Computer scientists posses technical skills. This skills turn out to be the most important at lower level of managerial responsibility and then decrease as it move upwards the management hierarchy.

2. Human skills
   Management is often referred to as getting things done through people. A manager with good human skills has a high degree of self awareness and the capacity to understand the feeling of others and to motivate and encourage employees of all level. Human skills are constantly important accross all levels of management but more at the top levels.
   
   

3 . Conceptual skills
This is the intellectual ability of a manager to integrate the intellectual ability of various part of the organization. Managers use conceptual skills to analyze the effect which one part or one department may have in the entire organization. The conceptual skills are most with the top managers and they decrease as you move downwards the management hierarchy.
_{Take note that all these skills must work together. In other a manager must posses all these skills. Imagine having Human skills without technical skills as defined above, there will be inefficiency in the organization.}
