Introductory Post of Me

My name is Jane Tony, I'm an only child to my parents, I'm from Nigeria. I live in Calabar, Cross River State, I'm 22 year's old, we are four in my family, Mr Tony my Dad, he works at Federal psychiatric hospital Calabar. My Mom Mrs Glory, is a business woman, she owns a clothes shop at watt market Calabar. And my cousin Rejoice, she is 11years old, she school at vision high school Calabar.
I graduated from University of Calabar, under the department of social work. During my five years in the University of Calabar, I had a bittersweet experience. At times it was fun filled and at other times It was stressful. While in school, I studied hard in order to have good grades. I tried possibly not to miss any lectures, I was always serious with my studies. I also had the opportunity of meeting new people.

I made some new friends, especially the one's that are very serious with school work, I also made friends with those that were not that serious with school's work. They attended lectures when they felt like, and it's not because they were actually very busy, they can be at home sleeping and feel lazy to get up and prepare for class.
I had a friend that she missed a test because she was actually polishing her nails, sounds very funny. However, school activities was a bit stressful sometimes, and I get frustrated. But to keep moving, I had go for night classes, to study with other students. I tried to do my best in other to graduate with good grades,as the only child I need to make my parents proud, I made it possible, I thank God for that.
Area of Work or Study
I studied Social Work in the University. Social work is a profession that render selfless services to better the lives of individual living in the society.
The services being g rendered includes:
- Help people of all life stages cope with and solve everyday problems.
- Advocate for and develops plans to improve clients well being.
- Identify those in need.
Experience with Crypto
Unfortunately, this is my very first experience with something related to crypto currency. Although I got to hear about the word "Cryptocurrency" in 2021, but I didn't get any definitive meaning about it. The crypto currency I heard if is Bitcoins. I assume this is the most popular cryptocurrency because it is what everyone has heard of.
But I hope to learn more about crypto currency as I embark on my journey on the Steemit platform.
Passion
I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, see and experience. I have passion for doing make - up on women's faces to enhance their beauty. I have passion for sewing and fashion designing, thereby making people smile with beautifully made dresses. I have passion for reading novels and I have passion for singing. I also have passion for learning, I love to learn new things.
Hobbies
I like swimming, i go to the swimming pool to swim on weekends. I do this as part of exercise and to get rid of the hot weather. My favorite meal is Rice with stew. I love drinking juice too. I like going to church, as I get excited during praise and worship so I get caught up singing and dancing while rendering praises to God. It gives me a lot of Joy and laughter while doing it. I don't travel that much actually because I haven't been involved in situations that would make me travel, but I know someday I will visit different countries, and learn different cultures.
Dislikes
Unreliable people, that is, someone who commits to do something and then pulls out at the last moment without any concrete reason. If you know you cant keep to promises or will end up not being able to accomplish a thing once volunteered or required to do, just say it at the start, it will make you gain my respect for being honest.
Dishonesty
Always be honest never pretend to be something or someone you aren't.
Type of Post I like I'm looking for
To get the sort of posts that I like, I had to go through some of the communities here on Steemit. While doing that, I came across a post by @bountykings5. The post talks about beauty and creativity and is found in the Beauty of creativity community. The purpose of the post is to his creative prowess where he draws a cup with coffee inside. The coffee was painted with a black color and the cup was given a white color.
I also came across another post titles: Some consideration about love, by @emmoron. The writer said love is manifested in care, respect, appreciation, and importance that we give to ourselves, which develops and strengthen every day, I like post that speaks about love.
What sort of post do you think you will be creating
The kind of post I will be creating is based on communities that I am subscribed to and actively engaged in. In these communities they make post such as diary game, contest and other posts of relevance.
So I hope to be making posts based on the activities of the day in these communities. I would make post based on diary game, the contest that is available and I hope to have lots of fun while making posts, it will help me grow on the steemit platform and make some new friends.

I found steemit through a friend of mine @theopportunist, he told me about the platform and immediately I had interest in it. He told me it's a nice platform were you meet new people and get to join different communities.
I hope to accomplish a great benefits and learn new things to acquire more knowledge and also have an impact on people's lives in a positive way and of great benefits to the community members.
