I am from cross river state, Nigeria. Am proud of my state of origin because we are the people paradise fill with a lot of natural resources.
Cross River State is a coastal state in southeastern Nigeria, bordering Cameroon to the east. Its capital is at Calabar, and it is named for the Cross River which passes through the state. Ejagham and Efik are major languages spoken in the state.

Tertiary educational institutions are the University of Calabar and the Cross River State University of Technology in Calabar,the Ibrahim Babangida College of Agriculture in Obubra and The Polytechnic, Calabar.

- The Cross River State Christmas Festival – 1 December to 31 December annually The Cross River State Carnival Float – 26th and 27th December yearly
- The Yakurr Leboku Yam festival – 28 August annually
- The Calabar Boat Regata
The state is Bless with so many natural things that attract people from different part of the world. The tourist center in the state are the Tinapa Business Resort, Calabar Marina, Calabar Residency Museum, Ikom monolith, the calabar carnival, and the Margaret Ekpo International Airport at Calabar.
Cross River State i the only paradise state in Nigeria with a lot of mineral resources, a place where anyone will wish visit due to the tourist attractions the state.
