Achievement 3 by @jmsthree Task: Content Etiquette

What Is Plagiarism?
The Steemit platform uses a concept called Proof of Brain. Meaning, only post content that is original to your thought process, otherwise this is considered plagiarism. "As defined by dictionary.com, plagiarism is: an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author." Why Is Plagiarism Wrong?
First it comes across as being lazy. It is very simple at the stroke of a few keys to copy/paste content and post as your own. Take some pride in your work, put some thought into it, and put in the effort. This will give you a sense of accomplishment knowing that your content can stand on its own merit. Secondly, it is considered illegal in most countries and offenders can be prosecuted to some extent of the law. Bottom line, its not worth the risk, so Use Your Brain.

What If I Can't Think Of Anything To Write About?
Write about things to which you are passionate. Chances are there are a group of people out there that like the same things you do. Create a community around that topic and begin a daily blog. When you care about something its easy to tell others about it and create original content.
