Hello Friends, Greetings To You All.
It gives me joy to always express myself in my own words. After successfully completing my achievement 2, I was allow to write on content Etiquette which is the rules, regulations and ethical code of conduct guiding steemit,
this has do do with the word plagiarism.

Now let's take a look at the word plagiarism.
Plagiarism is the act of stealing other people work, big ways of rewriting, copying and pasting what has been written by some else without giving credit to it. "The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the act of plagiarism as; “to steal and pass off ideas or words of another as oneʼs own”. Simply put, plagiarism is the process of taking other peopleʼs words and/or ideas and pretending that they are your own." Source "Plagiarism is de ned as using someone else’s words, original ideas, or data in your work of writing without giving proper credit or reference to the creator. In other words, you present another person’s ideas as your own." Source
As a Steemians, Blogger, or a Content Writer it's a very big offense in using plagiarism to publish your articles because it discredit your blog.

Plagiarism is a serious problem if you're a steemit writer which has a serious consequences on your blog, you could imagine that if you published and article and it was label plagiarism at the comments session and after your followers read the article and saw the comment do you ever think they will have interest in reading your article again.

As a steemit writer plagiarism can be avoided by putting by appropriate credit to a content which isn't yours where it is due. This is done by using source or citation.

I believe this articles will help everyone on steemit and most especially the newcomers may you all remain bless.
