There is no harm in taking support from the tons of material available on internet but under defnite set of rules and one among them is citing the source. That means, if we use content created by someone to somehow support us, aa a matter of common courtesy and ethics, giving reference to that source becomes our responsibility. .
Let me support it with the help of example
Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work.
Above definition of plagiarism, is the copy paste of wikipedia, so in source link to wiki is given. If source is not cited, it is against content etiquette and mounts to plagiarism.
Seriousness of the issue can be understood by looking at countries where plagiarism is a punishable offense.
Same thing applies to images also. Citing of source in addition to licence of the images is mandatory here.
Plagiarism is a sort of theft, where content is stolen by someone . Let us not be copy cats and let us put our grey matter to work and create content and cite source on taking assistance from some source .
