Ways to avoid plagiarism:

PLAGIARISM can be avoided through the following ways:

  • Making use of plagiarism checker to check your work.
  • Citations.
  • Paraphrasing of your text.
  • Using quotation marks.
  • Always making use of your own Ideas.

Different class of plagiarism.

The five classes of plagiarism are:

  • Self Plagiarism:

It can be using most part of your own work or slightly paraphrasing your personal previous work.

  • Direct Plagiarism:

This is copying of another person's work word to word, without minding to do any changes on it and passing it off.

  • Mosaic Plagiarism:

It means combining of both your work and another person's work.

  • Accidental Plagiarism:

It is unwillingly paraphrasing, that is when we are not remember to include citations but we provided the information about the source.

  • Complete Plagiarism:

It is making use of other's work or copying of another person's work in your name.

How to Cite Sources?:
To avoid plagiarism you should remember to cite your sources, very important. To do this giving proper reference of the write-up is required, so add quotation marks or mention the authors name. This tells your reader that you are not the rightful owner, so giving proper credit to the owner helps you avoid being plagiarized in your content. It could be picture or sentences etc. To cite your work use this greater than sign > in the beginning of your sentence, See below how it will appear
