Hello steemians, I Salim have joined steemit for some few days now and have learnt a lot of writing skills.
@cryptokannon, thank you for educating us to keep our keys and permissions safe.As a matter of fact I have kept all my keys safe both online and offline. I have patiently written word for word all my keys on hardcopy.
These are the things I now know about steemit;
The Posting key; it allows me to keep posting,edits and follow other accounts or mates. It also helps users to login into their own individual accounts.
Active key; it also helps perform tasks like, to power up and down my steem,for transactions in and out of my wallet,to make changes on my profile details and even placing marketing orders.
Owner key; it is the most powerful key.It is powerful because it help you to retrieve back your account in case you lose it,so it is highly recommended to store this key offline to prevent hackers from accessing it.
Memo key assist in the transfer of funds to any crypto currency exchange platform.
As for my master key , I have kept it very safe without anyone knowing the where about . My steem wallet is where my steem powers,steem balance and even my history of transactions are found.
