I have been facing some particular challenges on how to organise my posts since I recently joined steemit. At times, its how to itemise my work, other times its how to format my work to make it look more appealing. Lucky for me, this post by @cryptokannon has solved my enigma of formatting my publications.
I'll try to show what I've learnt so far through an article I have been meaning to write.
QUITTING IS WORST THAN FAILURE
...
We learn from the explanation of both quiting and failing that, the two are absolutely different. One is positive in a way, whereas one is absolutely negative. And in case it wasn't obvious, I am referring to quitting when I say negative. Quitting is just the worst. It is said that Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb until more than a 1000 failed attempts. This means we would have had limited sight had it not been for 'constant failure'.
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill.
Being a quitter drastically reduces your chances at success as it uplifts your inner drive to soar higher. Take a critical look at these 2 image. They are depicting the tendency to succeed by 2 different set of people; the quitter and the one who doesn't give up upon failing.
One who constantly tries after failing
Compared to the light of one who quits each time
Be a fighter. One that is not afraid of the few bumps along the journey. One tht knows no quitting. And the warrior that knocks till the doors of success are wide open. Be the ultimate warrior.
And not the quitter who achieves nothing in the end: the sore loser.
Differences between Quitters and Failures
QUITTERS | FAILURES |
---|---|
Give up | Get back up |
Lose | Win |
Not Brave | Incredibly brave |
Never learn | Experienced |
