Hey guys This is Razu Ahmed again. So this is my final achievement post. I already did my 5 achievements. In this post, I will talk about understanding curation and community.
Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?
Curation can simply be described by an upvote button of a post as an act of voting and most importantly it won't cost your steem or SBD, but you can win them. If you upvote on a post you can earn 50% curation reward and the other 50% goes to the author. But it depends on your voting value. Like if your voting value is $50 (For example) and you gave a 100% upvote. It means you will get $25 reward and the author get $25. The fact is voting value is depends on how much steem power you have. Now follow the picture given below -
All you get after the payout. When the post reaches 7 days of age it gets the payout. You will get 50% reward of final payout. Some times post rewards is going up and down. Its happen because of steem price.
What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?
From the 50% that goes to the curator, the curator will receive less than 100% if the curator votes within the first 5 minutes. After posting if you vote at same moment your will receive nothing cause 100% reward will remain in reward pool.
If you vote after 1 minute, you will receive 20%, and 80% remains in the rewards pool.
If you vote after 2 minutes, you will receive 40%, and 60% remains in the rewards pool.
If you vote after 3 minutes, you will receive 60%, and 40% remains in the rewards pool.
If you vote after 4 minutes, you will receive 80%, and 20% remains in the rewards pool.
If you vote at 5 minutes (or later) after posting, 100% of the curation reward goes to you.

In general, the steem group selects witnesses to build blocks for the steemit block-chain. As he founded Steemworld.org, I am going to vote for @steemchiller, which is very useful for me. Also I vote for @justyy because his tool Steemyy.com also very useful for me.
