Hello Steem world!
It amazing how far i have gone. In this blog, i will love to share with you my review, experience and understanding of one of steem tools, which is: Steemscan.com I have never used this tool before not to even talk of knowing of it existence. Thanks to @cryptokannon through the achievements, i have really learnt allot.
Steemscan.com is a steem exchange tool built on the steem blockchain. It is used in converting steem into other cryptocurrencies such as USDT, BTC, TRX. Steemscan was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich.
- User interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)
I really like attractive and beautiful user interfaces even when I do not see them as the key factor of trading but the UI and the experience i got was okay for me. I could easily navigate through the web app via my phone and laptop stress free.
When I opened the web application, i was really happy with the landing page. It was so clear and i also discovered that the landing page displays two charts showing the price and volume of different options such as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly, etc.
Below the charts, we have latest transaction and latest blog.
steem users are able to see latest transactions and blogs on the blockchain and all these are updated in real-time such that if you wait for some time or refresh your browser, then you will see the movements.
- Witness
I am able to get all the information about witnesses who can even vote as well. It also displays a list of witnesses with their information
- DApps
In this section, steem users are able to see all apps on the steam blockchain. It also shows the total number of Dapps and active users along with each one. When you click on any dapp, you will be redirected to the website of that particular Dapp
- Quick Convert
This feature provides for the for the possibility of conversion. You enter the number of steem you wish to convert and then you select currency you want it to be converted to.
Never the less, This exchange service looks like it is promoting more of selling steem tokens. It is but normal that any exchange should have buy and sell for customers. But here, i am limited just to sell or exchange steem to other tokens but cant exchange other tokens to steem.
