I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them. Its on this note that I have gone ahead to write on plagiarism.
WHAT IS PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is the act of stealing other people work, either by copying, or trying to change what has being written by someone else, without giving credit to it but instead trying to make it look like your own original work.
According to Wikipedia, “Plagiarism is the representation of another author’s language, thoughts, ideas or expressions as one’s own original work.” Plagiarism refers to intellectual theft i.e. using someone else’s thoughts in your work without referencing them. It’s taking the credit for someone else’s work, which goes against the rules of academia.source

Conclusion
As a steemians writer it is wrong to use plagiarism in publishing your content. The reasons is that you have already use other people’s thoughts and ideas without citing them, of which you are supposed to give credit to the author of the post by a way of citing, or using source to give credit to the post.
The consequence of plagiarism cannot be overemphasized, in steemit platform, your post may not be found interesting for other steemians to read, in fact when your post has been detected plagiarism no one will find any of your post interested to read.
