¡Hola, comunidad de Steemit!
Finalmente doy comienzo a este viaje por Steemit y su comunidad; así, en este post les comentaré brevemente acerca de quién soy, cómo es grosso modo mi personalidad y cuáles son mis ocupaciones, mis hobbies e intereses, qué se de las criptomonedas y lo que espero de Steemit.

Mi nombre es Rafael Alfonso Badillo Luna (Rafa, para los amigos), tengo 23 años, soy chileno y desde siempre residente en San Bernardo, comuna adyacente a la capital del país.
Soy el tercer hijo de una hermosa familia; mis padres son Ana y Luis, y mis hermanos son José Luis, Daniel y Manuel --ordenados cronológicamente. El primogénito, José Luis, es quien logró convencerme de ser parte de esta plataforma luego de semanas de actividad persuasiva.
Además, hace algo más de un año vengo cultivando una linda relación amorosa con Nami, a quien conocí durante un campamento de verano a principios de 2020, cuando las mascarillas no estaban de moda aún.
Si tuviera que describirme, me definiría como alguien ambivertido. Por una parte, me gusta socializar y formar lazos amistosos; me gusta divertirme con amistades, cantando o bailando, lo cual me puede hacer parecer alguien histriónico. Por otra parte, en cambio, disfruto de los momentos en silencio y a solas, sea para leer, escribir o reflexionar. Esto último me ha ayudado a llevar una vida más ordenada, cultivando mi interioridad e intentando desarrollar hábitos que potencien mi bienestar físico, mental y --por qué no-- espiritual.
En relación con mis ocupaciones, más allá de las limitaciones que ha significado vivir la actual pandemia, actualmente soy estudiante y estoy cursando el penúltimo semestre de la carrera Licenciatura en Lingüística aplicada a la traducción Inglés-Portugués --en corto, traducción. Si bien, ya obtuve la licenciatura, aún me quedan los ramos de especialización y la eventual titulación.
En cuanto a mis hobbies e intereses, me gusta hacer pan, de ahí que de vez en cuando por las tardes me dirija a la cocina, tome un puñado de harina, levadura, sal y agua para sumergirme en el entretenido vaivén del amasado.
Adicionalmente, me fascina cantar --como ya mencionaba más arriba--, por lo que además de cantar karaoke, soy parte de un coro de música sacra (gregoriano, principalmente) que periódicamente canta en misas.
Además de lo anterior, estoy en camino de convertirme en un lector asiduo, por lo que probablemente suba algún post al respecto, sea comentando alguna obra o algo más.
Por último, y respecto de mi conocimiento sobre criptomonedas y mis objetivos en la plataforma, por una parte, tal conocimiento es superficial, por lo que una de mis metas es conocer más al respecto, lo cual me ayudaría a satisfacer mi voraz curiosidad. Por otra parte, pretendo subir periódicamente contenido; aún no he definido algún tema, pero supongo que haré camino al andar. Posiblemente, los temas se relacionen con mis intereses, que van desde la lingüística y los idiomas, hasta los hábitos y cómo hacer un buen pan.
La comunidad parece genial, por lo que apunto a sintonizar con ella.

I hope you're all doing great. I'm finally starting this journey through Steemit and its community. Hence, in this post I will briefly talk to you about who I am, my personality, my occupations, my hobbies and interests. Then, I will mention what I know about criptocurrencies and what I expect from Steemit.
Now, let's get to it!🙌🔥
My name is Rafael Alfonso Badillo Luna --friends call me Rafa--. I'm a Chilean 23-years-old boy, and I've always lived in San Bernardo, which is a small town nearby Santiago of Chile.
I'm the third son of a beautiful family; my parents are Ana and Luis, and my brothers are José Luis, Daniel, and Manuel --sorted out chronologically. The firstborn, José Luis, is the one who convinced me joining Steemit, after weeks of persuasive activity.
Additionally, I'm growing a nice love relationship with Nami, whom I met during a summer camp at the beggining of 2020 --when cloth mask were not yet in fashion.
If I had to describe myself, I would portray me as an ambivert. On the one hand, I relish socializing and making friendly bonds; I like to have fun with fellows, by singing or dancing, which could depict me as someone histrionic. On the other hand, however, I enjoy moments of silence and solitude, either to read, write or reflect. This has helped me get my life in order, cultivating my interiority and trying to develop habits that boost my physical, mental and --why not-- spiritual well-being.
With regards to my occupations, despite the restrictions due to the current pandemic, nowadays I'm a university alumn studying a Bachelor Degree on Linguistics Applied to English-Portuguese Translation. Although I already attained bachelor degree, I still have some specialized subjects pending, and also my professional degree, eventually.
Regarging my hobbies and interests, I love making bread, that is why I often go to the kitchen, grab a fistful of flour, blend it with yeast, salt, and water to immerse myself on the amusing sway of kneading.
Furthermore, I really enjoy singing --as I had already mentioned above--, and not only karaoke, for I'm member of a sacred music choir (mainly of gregorian chant), which sings in masses from time to time.
Also, I'm on the way of becoming a bookworm; thus, I might post something related to reading, commenting a work or something else in the future.
Lastly, about my knowledge on criptocurrency and my objectives in the platform, firstly, this knowledge is merely superficial, therefore, I aim at learning more about it --which would help me satisfy my ravenous curiousity. Secondly, I intend to frequently post content to my blog; I have not decided a particular topic yet, but I will probably figure it out on the way. Probably, it will be related to my interests; comprehending linguistics and languages and even habits or how to make a good piece of bread.
The community seems great, so I will try to harmonise with it.
