INTRODUCTION
Hello steemites.
About two days ago I started studying achievement 5 of the achievement task I as a newbie is supposed to complete and on the same day I was able to complete my achievement 5 task-1, review steemworld.org and also posted it.
Today I am here with achievement 5 task-2, review steemscan.com. I want to thank God for bringing me this far. Also to every steemites who have assisted in one way or the other, I salute you all.
STEEMSCAN.COM
This is a user-friendly tool developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich. It helps steem users to convert the STEEM they have acquired over time to currencies of their choice e.g USD, USDT and TRX.
THE CURRENT STEEM PRICE AND VOLUME
The current steem price on this day 11th of December, 2020 is 1STEEM to $0.16 which is #77. 69. Steem currently have height which is the volume displayed in the diagram below with a supply or market cap of the displayed value.
This information about the price of STEEM coin displayed shows its price as at the time and date of creating this post.
The supply value also displayed on this date shows the quantity os STEEM available in the market at the moment. It is the quantity available for buyers of the STEEM coin at the crypto market.
LATEST TRANSACTION AND LATEST BLOCKS
On steemscan, every member of the steemit has access to the latest transactions happening on the steem blockchain which includes votings, comments, delegations made with the value of a votes made with percentage worth of the vote, the usernames of senders and receivers of votes and delegations.
Latest blocks contain the identification or wallet addresses of the latest transactions.
INFORMATION ON WITNESS SECTION AND STEPS TO VOTE A WITNESS
The witness section shows a long lists of witnesses with information including their ranks, status and version. The diagram below shows in for on witness section.
DApps
This is a platfrom with many steem sites that allows a steem user to locate as many of the and use for his or her desired purpose.
There are different kinds of steem DApps but I will just mention 3 as instructed. They are:

- Steemtalktalk
- Steemdb.host
HOW TO USE QUICK CONVERT.
- Go to quick convert on the menu bar.
- Enter the amount of steem you want to convert.
- Select your choice of currency you want to convert into.
- Enter the withdrawal address (address of the currency selected.
- Click create order.
The process of converting steem to another currency also includes its transfer to another wallet. That is why step 4 is included.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SEARCH FEATURE.
The information provided by the search feature is the form a user of steemscan has to fill in order to find a particular transaction on an account in the past be it a comment, vote, delegation, curation rewards, claimed rewards, transfer, etc all done in the past. After filling the form, search in the box below is clicked to locate the transaction.
