The history of music artists: The case of Martin Luther!

Martin Luther was a great man, and he contributed much in his life to the religious perceptions, and to the music. And he was creative and innovative in his works, and he characterized much work as written by monkeys!

Martin Luther is always an important guy that we can remember, and he was professor in theology in Wittenberg, and he worked by the university there. We can dwell with many things in Martin Luthers life, and he was known for much, and among these things were the statements: «The belief alone», «The grace alone» and «The scripture alone». Luther was professor in understanding God, and in what all things in life meant in relation to believing within a God! God is something around us, and not visible for human kinds, for God is both visible and invisible in the manners that he is operating.

Martin Luther had not just large influence on the religious life in the 16th century, but he also got big importance of the design and the structure of the church music in the Protestant movement. The modern Christian psalm can in great degree be brought back to mind about the music’s function in the new denomination, as Luther and his circle had.

Luther made 95 theses, no more and no less, of the beliefs about the Catholic Church practice, where humans by means of monetary gifts and good deeds could be able to secure a better life after the death. It was according to Luther only God that could forgive, and therefore the indulgence practice was an abomination.

Luther was an avid music lover and he played lute and flute, and he sang usably with a not too powerful tenor voice. In his work with doing translation of the Bible and the aequum Latina to the German language, he also tried to compose some new melodies to some of the Latin lyrics. He was no doubt and obvious not satisfied with this work, and he said that too much work is just a copy of what we know. There are no news under the sun, and the principles are the same from time to time and from place to place. Therefore, he wrote new hymn texts, and he also composed melodies to a lot of these, and he got help from Johann Walter with doing harmonization of them. And Johann Walter was a Lutheran composer and poet during the Reformation period.

You need many knowledges and talents to do as Martin Luther. He was composer and poet, he translated the Bible, he wrote much religious art like for instance the little catechism and the large catechism, and he contributed much to the hymns, for instance with the psalm «A Mighty Fortress Is Our God». And hence we can deliver our life to God, and there is a body and a soul in making life. Martin Luther was a German reformatter and theologian, and he was one of the most central persons during the Reformation, and he was one of the most influential persons in the history of Christianity. He was orginally a Catholic priest in the order of the Augustinian remittances.

Martin Luther was born on 10 November 1483 in Eisleben in Germany, and he died on 18 February 1546 in Eisleben in Germany. Therefore, Martin Luther was just a bit more than 62 years when he died, and he has made his traces in the lives to many people. His wife was Katharina von Bora from 1525 to 1546, and they had six children together. And the parents to Martin Luther were Hans Luther and Margarethe Luther. Few people in Christianity ever since have made such impacts with evidences as Martin Luther!
