Tit-acrobat. Or is she a gymnast?
We always hang pork fat to the bird feeders. Tits love him very much. But the tits now have competitors - jays. Last Sunday, my wife hung up 2 pieces of tallow, but she didn't do it quite right. My wife just tied one piece to a tree branch and the jays tore it off after a couple of hours and dragged it away somewhere. The second piece was tied more competently - it dangles under a branch. A chickadee can simply hold on to it by catching on with its sharp claws of paws, and a large bird cannot show such somersaults. But the piece needs to be kept even lower from the branch.

Мы всегда к кормушкам для птиц вывешиваем свиное сало. Его очень любят синицы. Но у синиц теперь появились конкуренты - сойки. В прошлое воскресенье жена повесила 2 куска сала, но она это сделала не совсем правильно. Один кусок жена просто привязала к ветке дерева и сойки через пару часов его оторвали и куда-то утащили. Второй кусок был привязан более грамотно - он болтается под веткой. Синица может просто удержаться на нем, зацепившись своими острыми коготками на лапках, а крупная птица не может показываеть такие кульбиты. Но кусок нужно держать еще ниже от ветки.

Смотрите как птичка обхватила лапками сало. Крепко держится. Кстати, мне эти лапки напоминают лапы динозавров из фильмов. Всё же они родственники.
Я делал фотографию вчера днем, сейчас осталась висеть одна шкурка, но птицы продолжают активно её клевать.

There is also an unpleasant moment - it has become very difficult to find lard now. Now piglets are fed compound feed with growth accelerators and their fat does not have time to grow until the moment of slaughter. When I kept piglets, I used feed "for fat breeds of pigs".
Самое главное - сало должно быть несоленым. Если сало будет соленым, то птица потребуется вода, а где её птицы возьмут зимой? А снег они есть не умеют.
Еще есть неприятный момент - очень трудно теперь стало найти сало. Теперь поросят кормят комбикормом с ускорителями роста и сало у них не успевает вырасти до момента забоя. Когда я держал поросят, то я использовал корма "для жирных пород свиней".
