Last week I told you that birds came to us from warm places where they were waiting out the winter, and now it's time for nesting. But their arrival fell on the day of the snowfall.
It has been very warm all this week, the temperature in the afternoon was above 10 degrees, the snow melted very well, the fields were completely cleared of snow, even in the forest you can already walk safely. I stopped putting food in the feeder. Now the birds can provide themselves with food.
And this morning I see that a starling landed on a tree outside the window! I understood that I wouldn't have time to take a picture of him, because I still had to take the camera, but I decided to try my luck. Of course, the bird from the tree has already flown away, but I noticed movement in the beds. I was lucky! The starling was running on the ground and pecking at something.
На прошлой неделе я рассказывал, что к нам прилетели птицы из теплых мест, где они пережидали зиму, а теперь настало время гнездования. Но их прилет пришелся на день снегопада.
Всю эту педелю было очень тепло, температура днем была выше 10 градусов, снег очень хорошо расстаял, поля совсем очистились от снега, даже в лесу уже можно спокойно ходить. Я перестал класть корм в кормушку. Теперь птицы сами могут обеспечить себя едой.
И вот сегодня утром я вижу, что на дерево за окно приземлился скворец! Я понимал, что не успею его сфотографировать, потому что фотоаппарат еще нужно успеть взять, но я решил попытать счастье. Конечно, птица с дерева уже улетела, но я заметил движение на грядках. Мне повезло! Скворец бегал по земле и что-то клевал.
Friends, have you ever watched starlings? If so, then you understand what the task was in front of me. I needed to be able to catch good shots. And the starling was covered with last year's grass, plus it was sometimes hidden by tree branches and the Morningside sun created uneven illumination of its feathers. I slapped about a hundred frames. Well, a little less.
Друзья, вам когда-нибудь доводилось наблюдать за скворцами? Если да, то вы понимаете, какая задача стояла передо мной. Мне нужно было суметь поймать хорошие кадры. А скорец был прикрыт прошлогодней травой, плюс он иногда был скрыт ветками деревьев и остренее боковое солнце создавало неравноемерное освещение его перьев. Я нашлепал порядка около сотни кадров. Ну, немного поменьше.
The starling is poorly visible against the background of the grass. Nature has arranged it so that animals and birds often wear camouflage, which helps them to be invisible under certain conditions.
You also need to take into account that I photographed through the window, which over the winter, and especially over the spring, has become a little dirty. Especially since I didn't take pictures through the window that I always use.
I wanted to install a couple of birdhouses this year, but as always there was not enough time for this. We need to do all this in the fall.
Скворец на фоне травы плохо просматриваем. Природа устроила так, что животные и птицы часто носят на себе камуфляж, которые помогает им быть незаметными при некоторых условиях.
Еще нужно учесть, что я фотографировал через окно, которое за зиму, а особенно уже за весну стало немного грязным. Тем более, что я фотографировал не через то окно, которое я всегда использую.
Я хотел в этом году установить пару скворечников, но как всегда не хватило времени для этого. Нужно всё это делать осенью.
