here are my new feathered friends.
They are some seagulls that I photographed last summer. We were on the ferry to Elba Island. On the outward journey, the first one landed on the waste basket. In reality there were many, but I was not able to photograph them all.
On the return journey in the evening, I managed to photograph another who landed on the balustrade.
Apparently they were tired of flying and decided to hitch a ride on the ferry! Or they are simply used to getting food from passengers. I certainly didn't expect this visit, also because I rarely take the ferry, while the locals seemed used to these feathered travel companions!
I found them very funny and not at all scared of people.
