Greetings, friends.
For the second day in a row, I'm trying to start this publication, but due to a power outage, I can't upload all the photos and this business is postponed for a while, and then other ideas suddenly appear, but, today, I'll try to do it.
I want to present you a selection of photographs taken by me within my city.
In these photos you will see a cheerful, songbird called Sturnus vulgaris or Common starling.
I think you know her well.
About ten years ago, there were a lot of these birds in our city from spring to late autumn, but a few years ago, I noticed that starlings and sparrows began to disappear in the city.
Yes, they simply disappeared, were replaced, or replaced by other bird species such as the great woodland bluebird, and many predators appeared, such as the kestrel hawk.
Starlings are forced to flee.
But, everything has its exceptions and, from time to time, I see these cute birds on the streets of the city.
Probably, among the birds there are the most courageous.
They apparently decided to be persistent to the end.
Although, these may be scouts sent by the pack to find out the situation in the city.
Look at the beautiful plumage of this bird. From a distance, it's not as good.
Starlings are very shy and difficult to photograph when they run across the grass, they are constantly on the move, but when they are sitting on wires they become a good nuisance for the photographer.
This photo is my participation in the contest #club100 // Сontest "Photos of feathered friends" week 46, organized by @strawberrry.
I want to invite my friends to participate in the competition: @kaminchan, @bengy, @tonyz.
Zoom in on a photo for a closer view.
More to come!
Enjoy viewing the photos and reading the article!
Have a blessed day!
