The photos I am posting here were taken in a garten in the Slatina neighborhood of Sofia. The monument was consecrated in 1915 and was dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers, sergeants and officers from the village of Slatina. The current neighborhood of Sofia was then a village. In 2002, the monument was restored and a plaque was added with the names of those who died in 1944-1945. Two cannons that participated in the second world war were also added. The payment was made from donations from the villagers and implemented by an initiative committee.
