Monuments of my city "Dr. Jayasekara Memorial monument"

hi my friends good day everyone!
First of all, I would like to thank this community and @strawberrry for taking up such a challenge about monuments.

Together with this community, today I am going to share with my friends about the memorial monument of Dr. Jayasekara, who did a great job in uplifting the education of the children living in my city.

This doctor, who was born in our area in 1928, passed away in 1988 after doing a great mission for the education of children in our area. Due to the absence of a school in my city at that time, the children had to face various difficulties to study.

As a remedy for those difficulties, in 1972, under his initiative, the first school and school building in our area was built with his personal financial support

At present, that school has been nominated as a popular and famous school in my country and area. I am also proud to study in that school. After his death in 1988, the first building of the school built by him was named as the Dr. Jayasekara Memorial Building and in 1990, a memorial monument to him was built adjacent to the school in front of the city for his services.
The photos shown here show his monument in front of the school next to the city. The above is an occasion where I took a photo with some of my school friends near that monument.A picture of him wearing a headscarf and holding the school's official flag in one hand has been designed as the monument.
