Club 100 / Contest Photos Of Feathered Friends Week 52 - Lonely Cock

Greetings Feathered Friends Lovers. We welcome week 52 of this fantastic contest, the Photos Of Feathered Friends, hosted by @strawberrry. Find out more about this here. Read up and do join the fun.

At the back of our home is an empty lot intended as a subdivision by the owner. However, due to some tax issues and right of roadway conflicts, the place remains unopened. Although I feel sorry for the owner, still I am happy that it is still unopened because the place remains vacant and we have an open field behind our house. Aside from that, I can jog in the place and enjoy the fresh air and uncrowded area.

But apparently I am not the only one who is enjoying the fresh air and the open empty space. While I was jogging the other day a feathered friend popped up and was enjoying a solitary walk as well.

The cock is owned by a neighbor who lives 7 houses away from me and the back of his home is also the empty lot. He is using the empty lot as a breeding place to grow chicken. This is one of his many cocks who roam around the place, usually with his chicken wives and brood. But this time he was alone and by itself. Enjoying the space.

Here's a close up of the cock.

I like this cock's color. The other males my neighbor owns are the regular red and black colored ones.

And that's it for this post. Good luck to all the other participants. Stay safe and may peace be with you all. Inviting @long888, @g10a and @olivia08 to check this contest out and join.
