The Monument of Dr. Jose P. Rizal
A pleasant day to each of us.
It is located in the Town of Manticao Misamis Oriental. It is a historical place because according to those of us who are older who lived in ancient times, there were warriors who came here to make camp.
Who is Dr. Jose P. Rizal?
I will share with you what I know about the life of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. He was born in Calamba Laguna, His real name is Dr. Jose Protacio Mercado Rizal Y Realonda. He was an eye Doctor and he treated his mother's eye. He has also written books and these books are Noli me Tangere and El Felibustirismo. The content of these books suggests the tyranny of other people.
He also wrote a newspaper, and its title was La Solidaridad. Jose Rizal has other talents, one of whom wrote poetry and drew landscapes. He studied in England and wrote a book there.
Before He was shot in Bagumbayan he wrote the last poem titled, La Ultimo Adios which means The Last Farewell. The method of rebellion was not through violence, bullets and guns but through pen and paper. The courage and bravery of Dr. Jose P. Rizal can truly be considered a hero of our country because of his hard work and dedication to make our country independent.
So every June 12, we commemorate Independence Day, it also gives way to the memories and good deeds of our ancestors so that our country can be free. The great and faithful ancestors of our Country are unmatched.
