Greetings dear friend. this is one of the most happiest week for me. if you checked my blog you will see that I welcome my second daughter few days ago, so there is lots of celebration and Jubilation in my home.
Waking up yesterday morning, my mother prepared one of the traditional herbal drink tea ☕ that is highly beneficial for postpartum women and nursing mothers. The tea is made of herbal medicine like ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, and lot more.
Breakfast
The function of the tea, is to reduce pains, postpartum depression, anxiety, remove blood clots and retraction of the uterus.
Here in my environment, It is advisable for all nursing mothers to take this tea because it is highly beneficial. It is advisable not to overused, underused, or miss used. It is always recommended that we take depending on your body weight.
Lunch
My lunch was my favourite meals party jollof Rice with fried fish and egg. This was a beautiful and complete day lunch. Looking at my meal, you can see that it is well balanced and looking nutritious.
Party jollof Rice is the meals cherishes in all occasions, in short it is meal king of occasion in my environment.
In case you feel like preparing the same party jollof Rice, my ingredients where:
Rice, carrot, green beans, fish, egg, stock cube, Fresh tomatoes, Groundnut oil, Salt, pepper, crayfish, onion, Ginger and Garlic.
Rice is carbohydrates, Egg and fish is protein, carrot and green beans contains vitamin and mineral. I see this meal as a complete meal in the right proportion.
Mid day fruit
During the hot afternoon my friend sent me jack fruit, this fruit is cherishes by thousands of people in my country. One is sold approximately #2000 equivalent to 5 steems.
This fruit has a lot of health benefits and is a very good source of vitamins such as A, B, C, E, K and minerals. It also contains calcium which is beneficial for children and pregnant women.
Dinner
What do you prefer using for dinner?, Thousands of people prefers dessert while few prefers main dish due to circumstances. In my own case, since I gave birth to bouncing a baby, I needed to eat a meal that will produce breast milk for the baby.
My dinner was a very soft and special local delicacies called unripe porridge Banana.
During fattening, it is among the recommended meals which means it has a high nutritional value for both the baby's and the mothers.
The ingredients for the above meal as I choose to prepare was: Banana, stock cube, pepper, brisket bone, Vegetables leaf, crayfish, onion and salt. I enjoyed this meal to my satisfaction.
