So now I present to you my Engagement Post on "my first salary" topic Presenting.

What was the first pay special for me?

Yes, I think the first salary of my life was special for me. I started tuition in 2016 to pay for my education because of my family's poverty. After 1 month of patient tutoring when I got my first month salary I forgot my entire 1 month hardship and another kind of happiness started working in my mind which cannot be explained. My first month salary in 2016 was "Bangladeshi 500 Taka or 26.31 Steem". In fact I was more than happy to receive the first month's salary which gave me emotional satisfaction.

In 2016 I got my first salary of 500 Taka or 26.31 Steem by doing tuition which was very special for me.

What did I do after I received my first paycheck?

In 2016, when I got my first month salary from tuition, I was so happy that I bought sweets for family members to share my happiness with my family. After getting salary of "500 Taka or 26.31 Steem", I bought sweets from there with "250 Taka or 13.15 Steem" and the remaining "250 Taka or 13.15 Steem" I spent on traveling to my college. Our polytechnic college is 7 km away from my house so I had to travel by bus or auto rickshaw.

I bought sweets for my family members with my first salary and saved the rest for my college fare.

Does my income support my family without me?

Of course my income supports my family apart from me. My family is not financially sound as my father is a day laborer and on his meager income alone my family of 5 members takes care of all expenses. My father failed to pay for the education of our 3 siblings so now I help my family financially by doing several tuitions besides my own expenses. Even today I enrolled my younger sister in computer class with "2000 Taka or 105.26 Steem" for her computer course. Also I am helping my family by paying various expenses for running our family. Currently I do a total of 4 tuitions from which I earn "Bangladeshi 7000 Taka or 368.42 Steem" per month. From there I kept "1500 Taka or 78.94 Steem" for myself and handed over the rest to my family.

With my earnings I manage my own expenses as well as buy various products needed for my family.

Did I study for money or knowledge?

First I studied to gain knowledge. Because the value of uneducated people is very low in today's modern society. This world is constantly improving by the hands of educated people. If people want to lead a better life in this world then acquiring knowledge is very important for them so I have acquired knowledge in the hope of getting a better life and in the hope of improving the country and society.

At the same time, another reason for me to acquire knowledge is that by studying I can get a good job and free my family from poverty. For the time being, I have studied and gained knowledge with these two hopes.

Acquiring engineering knowledge is my main objective and using this knowledge I want to work for the betterment of society and country. At the same time I want to be self-reliant

Do I think that life is about making lots of money? Or something else?

I agree that money is very important in our earthly life. Without money a person does not get proper value as a human being in society. Earnings are very important for leading a better life and fulfilling various hobbies. But life is not just about making money. To survive in life one needs peace first which money cannot fully buy. Moreover, we who believe in religion accept one thing that our creator has created and sent people on earth to worship him which should not be forgotten. So I think it is possible to get both financial peace if you lead your life as per the orders of the great creator. In this regard I do not believe that earning money is the only goal in life.

We should not only earn a lot of money in this life but also remember the Lord who sent mankind to this earth to worship. It will lead to eternal salvation in the hereafter.

Conclusion

I clearly saw a saying in my text book that "Ignorant people are equal to animals" which has proved to be true in many ways in today's society. So, to lead a better life on this earth, we all should practice knowledge which is good for ourselves as well as society and country.
