Today, I will be sharing what I ate in a day with this wonderful contest - Food Diary Game - WEEK -29. I hope you will enjoy reading about my food diary - 10/12/2024.
I love to have milk rice and anything that involves milk rice makes my day. So, today my husband bought me some "Imbul Kiribath" ( It's a traditional sweet rice with a coconut filling also known as Pani Pol). I had Imbul Kiribath after a long time, It was really delicious and a great breakfast to start the day with. Vihan also loved the combination of milk rice and the coconut sweet filling. Thank god he enjoyed it happily, and I didn't have to make much effort to feed him this morning.
It was a bit gloomy and a lazy day for me. I wasn't in the mood for rice and curry, so I wanted to make something quick, like a one-pot meal. So, I made a quick egg fried rice for us. I prefer eating fried rice when I'm tired or lazy because usual rice and curry won't fit my day. It's also easy to feed Vihan as it contains all the required nutrients in one pot. I don't add anything to enhance its taste, I make it in a very healthy way to make it safe for my kid.
I had some leftover rice from lunch. I served hot meals to my husband and fed Vihan. Even though there was rice, I wasn't hungry much. So, I decided to have something light. There were some fresh strawberries in my fridge, I cut them into small pieces and added them to a yogurt. I love strawberries and yogurt. I always have something like this in my fridge because it's really easy to make a small snack for Vihan whenever needed and also to satisfy a quick hunger. It's healthy and perfect for a kid's breakfast or snack time. It's a heavenly combination and a great way to end the day with a light dinner.
I also had a piece of chocolate to lift my mood. Having fewer meals also feels great for the body.
I hope you enjoyed going through my food diary. Everything I had today was simple and delightful. I'm very thankful to god for blessing me with such wonderful meals and to my husband for providing them.
