Assalamualaikum friends, I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. Meanwhile, I am fine. So this morning when I saw Steemit Blog's list of Steemit Engagement Challenge, I saw this community organized Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 7 Week 6 contest. Its topic is How to Practice Meditation Every Day. So this competition is presented to everyone by the owner of this community @hive-180106, many thanks to for organizing such a beautiful competition.

We always think with our brain. I always think about something. Meditation is a type of practice in which a person refers to a technique such as concentrating on a thought or action. It increases concentration and achieves peaceful emotions and a stable state. This meditation has been practiced since ancient times in various religions. At first this meditation comes from the tradition of the Hindu community. Meditation means thinking deeply, focusing on one thing only. So below I will be a part of this contest by answering few questions.


➤ What is meditation? How is it useful for our health?


Meditation means practice. Merely closing the eyes will not lead to meditation, for this the body, the mind needs a proper state of self-feeling. Meditation is done automatically in the right state like our heart. To meditate properly we need to balance our physical, mental and emotional states. So meditation is a very good technique. Meditation has many health benefits, we are stressed for various reasons. So meditation removes all kinds of mental tension. For example, meditation balances the body, meditation balances the mind, emotions and feelings balance, etc. So I think meditation is a good strategy for us.

➤ What are the basic guidelines of meditation for a beginner?


As far as I know, there are several guidelines for meditation. If you follow them, you can meditate. Many experienced experts say the best time to meditate is before morning exercise. So first you have to choose a beautiful and clean place to meditate. The place will have an open and calm environment. Talking or any sound around will not actually be meditation. Then you have to wear a very simple dress for meditation. In this case, soft and white cotton clothes are best, because white is the color of the mind.

Next you need to determine the sitting position, you can sit in any style like Padmasana, Siddhasana, Sukhasana etc. Sit the way you feel comfortable or feel comfortable sitting. Then after sitting down you slowly close your eyes. Keeping the eyes closed, inhale upwards and slowly exhale downwards. Remember that the breath will not go out quickly, so take a few breaths like this. Meditate in this manner for as long as you wish to meditate. But meditation should be done within 10 minutes to 40 minutes. So here are the basic guidelines for meditation.


➤ How do you practise every day?


In fact I exercise most of the time, meditating very little. So I sometimes meditate before I wake up in the morning and exercise. I define my room as a beautiful place. I sat in my room and put on a soft cloth and meditated very nicely. Then I stay quiet for a while and I close my eyes and breathe slowly. This is how I meditate in general. Because there is a lot of noise around the place where I live, it is not possible to meditate for a long time. After meditation one should rest for some time. This is how I practice.

➤ What kind of good result do you find in your body after meditation?


After meditation our body gets many kinds of good results. Which we will feel if we meditate. For example..

• Meditation reduces our stress.
• Meditation improves our sleep.
• Meditation improves mental health.
• Meditation helps control body pain.
• Meditation increases self awareness.

• Meditation increases our productivity.
• Meditation keeps our blood pressure under control.
• Meditation helps with memory loss as we age.
• Meditation helps us get rid of addictions.
• Meditation enhances our creativity.

So basically as far as I know, meditation gives us the above mental and physical benefits.

Meditation helps to transform your body and mind. There are different types of meditation, choose the form of meditation according to your reason. Meditation helps improve your health and relieve stress and emotions. We can also meditate along with exercise, then we can improve our life by getting solutions to all our problems.
