Sábado 21 de Octubre del 2023, me presento ante ustedes para dejar mi participación en el SEC | S13-W1: Delicias de Ensaladas // Salad Delicacies.
Las ensaladas son la opción fresca, nutritiva y sana, que acompaña muy bien a nuestras proteínas, como pollo y carne, también a los pescados y siempre representan esa parte del plato que nos aporta muchos beneficios, estas son muy variadas. Para desarrollar esta publicación la comunidad nos brinda las siguientes pautas:
Salads are the fresh, nutritious and healthy option, which goes very well with our proteins, such as chicken and meat, as well as fish, and they always represent that part of the dish that provides us with many benefits, these are very varied. Les traigo una ensalada de pollo para esta participación en steemit iron chef y así comenzar esta temporada 13, esta ensalada tiene los siguientes ingredientes: Zanahoria, papa, pechuga de pollo, mayonesa y sal al gusto; su preparación es muy sencilla, acá les describire los pasos que realice. |

Iniciamos la presentación lavando los ingredientes, luego en una olla con agua coloco a sancochar la pechuga de pollo, esta al estar lista aprovecho esa misma agua y coloco a ablandar la zanahoria y la papa, en este paso siempre estoy muy pendiente del tiempo, pues no me gusta que estas verduras queden muy aguadas, las dejo en su punto perfecto, así la ensalada queda más bonita y no desarma, las papas son las primeras que están listas, mientras que las zanahorias requieren de más tiempo de cocción. |

We begin the presentation by washing the ingredients, then in a pot with water I place the chicken breast to parboil, when it is ready I use that same water and I place the carrot and potato to soften, in this step I am always very aware of the time, well I don't like these vegetables to be very watery, I leave them at their perfect point, so the salad is prettier and doesn't fall apart, the potatoes are the first to be ready, while the carrots require more cooking time.

Me dispongo a esmechar el pollo, mientras las verduras están listas, luego pelo las verduras y estas las corto en cuadritos pequeñitos, así al tener todos los ingredientes listos me preparo para darle vida a la ensalada. |

I get ready to shred the chicken, while the vegetables are ready, then I peel the vegetables and cut them into small squares, so once I have all the ingredients ready I prepare to give life to the salad.

En una taza grande coloco la papa, la zanahoria, el pollo esmechado, 3 cucharadas de mayonesa y sal al gusto, todo esto lo revuelvo cuidadosamente para mantener las verduras lo más intactas posible, con una taza más pequeña le doy una forma circular para realizar el emplatado y para finalizar lo adorno con una ramita de cilantro fresco. |

Mi resultado final queda maravilloso y sabroso, esta ensalada se puede consumir así sola o también como acompañante de un buen pollo guisado con arroz. |

No puedo decidirme por una ensalada en particular, soy un amante empedernido de todas las ensaladas, las amo todas, esta en participar es muy deliciosa, no es la más preparada en mi hogar pero si una de las más sabrosas, pues esta ensalada se prepara mucho en diciembre, es la acompañante perfecta del plato navideño. |

I cannot decide on a particular salad, I am an inveterate lover of all salads, I love them all, this one in participating is very delicious, it is not the most prepared in my home but it is one of the tastiest, well this salad is prepared much in December, it is the perfect companion to the Christmas dish.

Si todos los ingredientes son fáciles de conseguir, en cualquier verdureria puedes encontrar papas y zanahoria, estas si son producidas en mi país, sobre todo en los estados andinos como Merida y Trujillo, también es el caso del pollo el cual puedes adquirir entero y así sacar la pechuga o simplemente compras la pechuga ya sola, el pollo también es producido en mi país. |

La ensalada de pollo es ya una comida completa por la que la puedes consumir sola, puedes acompañarla con pan, arepa o casabe y ya te estarás alimentando muy bien; pero también si deseas acompañarla con más proteína es perfecta con carne y pollo; su mayor combinación es como mencione anteriormente, con el plato navideño, es decir con ayaka, pan de jamón y asado negro, esto es un manjar. |
