A feeder - the easiest way to see tits and cicadas up close

For nature lovers of all ages, but also for those passionate about photography, a simple bird feeder can be a great idea to liven up the yard, terrace or balcony. Coffee seems to be better when you have a mini-visual show every morning.

The feeder can be made of a PET and a wooden stick hanging on the terrace, balcony or in the garden with a wooden slat, about 1 meter away from the walls of the house, and fed about two days with raw sunflower seeds. The discovery of the feeder by the birds took several days, but after the first tits gave the signal, the whole cold season was agitation, mainly given by the Great Tit (Parus major) and the Ţiclean (Sitta europaea) to which were added and the visits of the Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) and, very rarely, those of the Gray Tit (Poecile palustris).

All the hustle and bustle over the winter, when every day had two waves of feeding (morning and afternoon / evening, with a total silence at noon) disappeared as soon as spring came and temperatures rose - the feeder is no longer useful as long as the birds easily find food in nature. The feeders are good to help the birds get through the harsh winters and the most important thing is that the feeding is not stopped once it has been started and the birds have become accustomed to this easy source of food.

As important as the feeders, in summer, are the drinkers, which can be installed just as easily - simple saucers or water containers located in accessible areas.
