I love landscape photography because it gives me the opportunity to explore the nature around me, the opportunity to run after the light, the opportunity to be a spectator to the most beautiful pieces that nature directs.

After a sustained effort that takes you to the top of a hill or on a mountain ridge, you can only participate in the joy of nature. A show that is often held on such a large stage, and the first tendency is to take out of the backpack the widest objective, in order to be able to record on the sensor the whole landscape that lies in front of the eyes.

It's just that it's often too much. You have to take a break and think differently so you can take advantage of the spectacle of nature, to try to apply the phrase "Less is more" Maybe it's time to go back to the big lens and take the tele one out. The advantage of a telephoto lens is that you can divide the main show into several acts, each act with its dialogue, so you have a better chance of getting more interesting photos.

Besides, maybe not the whole show deserves attention. Maybe the light falls wonderfully over the hills or over the top of a mountain, maybe the fog highlights details of the landscape, but still, maybe the sky does not have the most beautiful clouds, or maybe even a little burnt, so they are not what you are looking for in the frame.

A telephoto lens can help you focus on the most interesting area of the landscape, in order to have better photos.
