THE BEST PHOTO OF THE WEEK CONTEST ✨ / 50° Week - Roman Seagull (#club100)

Hello, my friends on Steem.

This is my entry for THE BEST PHOTO OF THE WEEK by @italygame.

December 23, 2019. Rome. Italy. It was like a fairy tale. My friends and I have just left the Vatican and we went for a walk through the Christmas evening streets of Rome. Wonderful pre-holiday atmosphere on the streets of the city. The narrow streets of the old town. All this was amazing and interesting for me.
We were walking on the Bridge of the Holy Angel across the Tiber River and suddenly one seagull landed on the railing of the bridge and began to look at me. I walked up to her at arm's length and started taking photos. The seagull was not scared at all and only turned its head. People gathered around me and looked at me and the bird.
When I left, people kept taking pictures of this bird.

St. Peter's Cathedral is visible in the background. Maybe the bird sat down on the railing on purpose so that I could capture it against this background? So that I remember about the Vatican, about this place filled with special energy,

A large seagull. It's not a very close distance to the sea, but there are a lot of these gulls in Rome. I was surprised by this.
Of course, there are seagulls in my city too, but they are smaller in size. And, by the way, they are not in the city itself, they fly in the bosom of nature near the city.

I have been to Italy 2 times - Milan in 2017, Rome in 2019. Of course, I would like to visit there again. I like Italy: mountains, history, cities, villages that are permeated with this very history, delicious cheese, bread and wine!
But the pandemic disrupted the plans, and now Russia has cut itself off from the whole world. What will be closer to Christmas? I don't know. How do I get a Schengen visa now? And now we need euro cash, bank cards will not work OUTSIDE of Russia.
It remains only to look and remember.

Friends, thank you for your attention.

I wish all of you good luck!

I will be glad to have your attention to my posts again.
