Oggi e' il 25 aprile, anniversario
della Liberazione dal nazifascismo, anche quest'anno c'è chi vorrebbe sminuire il valore di questa giornata o farla diventare qualcosa di molto diverso.
Oggi, magari sanza troppe contiguita', provo a trovare dei punti in comune fra due “Liberazioni”
ITALIA 1945
Il paese tentava disperatamente di liberarsi dall'ultimo ganglio di un periodo storico devastante.
Il fascismo era oramai ridotto, con la repubblica di Salo', ad una mera stampella scalcinata dell'invasore tedesco dopo il vergognoso tradimento Savoiardo dell'8 settembre.
Il nord Italia si libero' in gran parte da solo, sopratutto il Piemonte senza attendere aiuti degli alleati che da un lato volevano chiudere in fretta la guerra, dall'altro preservare una possibile influenza Comunista nel nostro paese.
Con ogni probabilita' se l'Unione Sovietica fosse caduta gli americani in Europa ci sarebbero venuti in
vacanza, omaggiando i figli e i nipoti del baffetto austriaco che l'avrebbero governata.
I Partigiani liberarono le grandi citta', il duce fini' la sua misera avventura a testa in giu', il nostro paese si trovo' a scegliere fra Monarchia e Repubblica.
Vinse la seconda, magari con qualche tarocco, si instauro' un governo di solidarieta' nazionale che pero' ebbe vita breve, viste le divisioni interne che, esattamente come accadeva per il mondo, crearono due schieramenti politicamente e ideologicamente opposti.
I vecchi Vicere' del fascio si
ritrovarono ad essere prefetti della Repubblica, dopo un colpo di spugna su tutte le porcherie effettuate nel ventennio, noi italiani a fare il salto della quaglia siamo imbattibili.
I valori della Resistenza e della Liberazione furono i pilastri della nuova costituzione repubblicana, a distanza di tanti anni possiamo dire che non tutto e' andato come allora si sperava, che l'Italia che volevano quei fondatori non e' stato possibile realizzarla, questo pero' non
sminuisce per nulla il valore di quei gesti ed il ricordo di tutti coloro che hanno perso la vita perche' la nostra potesse essere migliore.
CUBA 1959
In quel giorno di fine anno Batista, con l'intero tesoro della banca di Cuba, scappo' a gambe levate rifugiandosi negli Stati Uniti, sottraendosi cosi' al giusto destino, mentre Los Barbudos erano oramai a pochi giorni dal fare il loro ingresso nella capitale.
Un po' come la nostra Resistenza anche la Revolucion, almeno inizialmente, non aveva un referente politico vero e proprio, questo accadde successivamente, probabilmente fu una scelta obbligata vista l'ostilita' del potente vicino del nord.
Fidel, Che, Raul, Camilo e gli altri
rivoluzionari liberarono Cuba da un tiranno sanguinario, mettendo le basi per una lunga storia che continua ancora oggi, quando molti di quei rivoluzionari non ci sono piu' o sono molto avanti negli anni.
Ereditarono un paese con un tasso di analfabetismo superiore al 95%, un paese dove bastava allontanarsi di un km dal centro de La Habana per ritrovarsi in pieno Medio Evo, un paese senza scuole, ospedali, con un tasso di mortalita' infantile fra i piu' grandi del pianeta.
La Revolucion ha oramai più di 60 anni, anche in quel caso, come da noi, non tutto ha funzionato come avrebbe dovuto o potuto, le ragioni sono note e non e' il caso di ricordarle per l'ennesima volta.
Da noi una Repubblica “democratica” e un sistema economico capitalista che non funziona piu'visto che abbandona al suo destino chi non ha i mezzi per pagarsi i servizi di cui avrebbe diritto e le classi sociali più deboli del paese.
Da loro uno stato Socialista che, con tutti i suoi limiti, ha provato a non lasciare indietro nessuno, che ha dimostrato il suo carattere solidale e internazionalista. I medici di questo piccolo paese che aiutano la settima potenza planetaria sono uno specchio di un mondo capovolto.
Due Liberazioni a confronto, due sistemi politici ed economici differenti, ad ognuno di voi il giusto giudizio.

Today is April 25, anniversary
of Liberation from Nazi-fascism, even this year there are those who would like to diminish the value of this day or make it something very different.
Today, perhaps without too many contiguities, I try to find points in common between two "Liberations"
ITALY 1945
The country was desperately trying to free itself from the last knot of a devastating historical period.
Fascism was now reduced, with the republic of Salo', to a mere shabby crutch of the German invader after the shameful Savoyard betrayal of 8 September.
Northern Italy largely freed itself, especially Piedmont without waiting for aid from the allies who on the one hand wanted to end the war quickly, on the other to preserve a possible Communist influence in our country.
In all likelihood if the Soviet Union had fallen the Americans in Europe would have come in
holiday, paying homage to the children and grandchildren of the Austrian mustache who would have governed it.
The Partisans liberated the big cities, the Duce ended his miserable adventure upside down, our country found itself choosing between Monarchy and Republic.
The second won, perhaps with some tarot, a government of national solidarity was established which, however, was short-lived, given the internal divisions which, exactly as happened in the world, created two politically and ideologically opposing sides.

they found themselves prefects of the Republic, after a clean slate on all the rubbish carried out in the twenty years, we Italians are unbeatable in making the leap to the quail.
The values of the Resistance and Liberation were the pillars of the new republican constitution, after so many years we can say that not everything went as we hoped then, that the Italy those founders wanted was not possible to achieve, but this ' Not
it in no way diminishes the value of those gestures and the memory of all those who lost their lives so that ours could be better.
CUBA 1959
On that day at the end of the year Batista, with the entire treasury of the Bank of Cuba, fled to hell, taking refuge in the United States, thus escaping his rightful destiny, while Los Barbudos were now just a few days away from entering the capital .
A bit like our Resistance also the Revolucion, at least initially, did not have a real political referent, this happened later, it was probably an obligatory choice given the hostility of the powerful neighbor in the north.
Fidel, Che, Raul, Camilo and the others
revolutionaries freed Cuba from a bloodthirsty tyrant, laying the foundations for a long history that continues today, when many of those revolutionaries are no longer there or are far along in years.
They inherited a country with an illiteracy rate of over 95%, a country where it was enough to move a kilometer away from the center of Havana to find yourself in the middle of the Middle Ages, a country without schools, hospitals, with an infant mortality rate among the highest ' great on the planet.
La Revolucion is now more than 60 years old, even in that case, as with us, not everything worked as it should or could have done, the reasons are known and there is no need to recall them for the umpteenth time.
We have a "democratic" republic and a capitalist economic system that no longer works since it abandons to its fate those who do not have the means to pay for the services they are entitled to and the weakest social classes in the country.
From them a Socialist state which, with all its limitations, has tried not to leave anyone behind, which has demonstrated its solidarity and internationalist character. The doctors of this small country who help the seventh planetary power are a mirror of an upside down world.
Two Liberations in comparison, two different political and economic systems, to each of you the right judgement.
