Mi è venuta in mente una vecchia canzone di Faletti leggendo l'episodio di qualche giorno fa dove un carabiniere prima uccide il suo superiore poi si barrica in caserma per poi arrendersi ai reparti speciali dell'arma.
Il disagio è strisciante, miete vittime.
Nel 2022 (dati del 15/9) si sono gia' verificati 60 suicidi fra le forze dell'ordine .
12 carabinieri (di cui 7 forestali....ideona quella di Renzi di accorparli all'Arma...), 7 Finanzieri, 3 dell'Esercito, 4 della Polizia Penitenziaria (piu' un tentativo per fortuna non riuscito), 22 della Polizia di Stato (piu' 3 tentativi), 5 della Polizia Locale, 4 guardie giurate, 2 Vigili del fuoco, 1 Aeronautica militare.
In tutto il 2021 erano stati 57, 51 nel 2020.
Esiste sicuramente un malessere diffuso, strisciante, c'e' qualcosa che non funziona a dovere, il fatto di avere un arma a disposizione puo' aiutare a prendere la drammatica decisione.
In palestra ho alcuni Alpini della caserma di Rivoli, bravissimi ragazzi, tutti napoletani meno uno che e' sardo.
Ovviamente militari di carriera, gente che a 18 anni ha deciso di
intraprendere un certo tipo di percorso, a volte al sud le
opportunita' non sono molte, un buon lavoro statale puo' essere la soluzione.
Tutti hanno fatto missioni all'estero, sono piuttosto ambite in quanto ben retribuite.
Mi raccontano che in caserma la stragrande maggioranza e' over 40, lo Stato non sta' piu' assumendo anzi se puo' taglia i costi in ogni settore.
Quindi a gente di 45 anni tocca fare guardie, polveriere, durante il lockdown “strade sicure” a sostegno delle altre forze dell'ordine.
Un conto e' fare una settimana di guardia notturna a 20 anni, un altro a 45 se non oltre.
Mancano i ricambi, ovviamente questa non e' una causa che puo'
portare a quelle drammatiche conseguenze ma e' un disagio reale.
Del resto ogni lavoro ha le sue problematiche.
Loro mi dicono che il servizio non c'entra nulla con quelle
decisioni, che i problemi erano al di fuori dal lavoro, tutto puo'
essere ma, certamente, il problema esiste.

There is certainly a widespread, creeping malaise, there is something that is not working properly, the fact that you have a weapon at your disposal can help you make the dramatic decision.
In the gym I have some Alpini from the Rivoli barracks, very good guys, all Neapolitans except one who is Sardinian.

opportunities are not many, a good government job can be the solution.
All have done missions abroad, they are quite coveted as they are well paid.
They tell me that the vast majority in the barracks are over 40, the state is no longer hiring, on the contrary, if it can, it cuts costs in every sector.
So 45-year-olds have to make guards, powder magazines, during the “safe roads” lockdown in support of other law enforcement agencies.
It's one thing to do a week as a night watchman at 20, another at 45 if not over.
Spare parts are missing, obviously this is not a cause that can
lead to those dramatic consequences but it is a real inconvenience.
After all, every job has its problems.
They tell me the service has nothing to do with those
decisions, that the problems were outside of work, anything can
be but, of course, the problem exists.
