I took this photo on a previous trip to the city of Amsterdam

It is the national Dutch museum called the Rijksmuseum
and is dedicated to the history in Amsterdam and the arts

The collection of the Rijksmuseum consists of 1 million objects and is dedicated to arts, crafts, and history from the years 1200 to 2000.

Approximately 8,000 objects are currently on display in the museum

The famous sign "I amsterdamm" appears in front of the museum
which can be spotted in various areas of the city, such as outside the famous Schiphol Airport

These huge letters are more than two metres tall
and 23.5 metres wide in total

and attract the attention of many tourists
as everyone wants to take pictures in front of the big motto
