Quando mi trovo nella zona di Riva del Garda ,faccio sempre un salto a Canale di Tenno un bellissimo Borgo rurale medievale ,che ha origini antiche infatti le prime notizie della sua esistenza risalgono agli inizi del 1200.
When I am in the Riva del Garda area, I always make a trip to Canale di Tenno a beautiful medieval rural village, which has ancient origins in fact the first news of its existence dates back to the early 1200s.
Il Borgo è stato poi in seguito abbandonato intorno alla metà del 1900 ,come moltissimi altri paesi di montagna ma alla fine è stato riscoperto e recuperato grazie a diverse associazioni e recentemente è stato inserito nella lista dei borghi più belli d'Italia.
La cosa più interessante è che da qui si può avere un bellissimo punto panoramico sul Lago di Garda e sulla valle e poi sono bellissimi i contesti architettonici dei quali il borgo è ricco.
The Borgo was later abandoned around the middle of the 1900s, like many other mountain villages but in the end it was rediscovered and recovered thanks to various associations and recently it was included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The most interesting thing is that from here you can have a beautiful panoramic point of Lake Garda and the valley and then the architectural contexts of which the village is rich are beautiful.
Secondo me è consigliato visitarlo nel periodo natalizio quando per le vie del borgo Vengono organizzati dei bellissimi mercatini che purtroppo causa "pandemia" finora sono stati rimandati.
In my opinion it is recommended to visit it during the Christmas period when beautiful markets are organized in the streets of the village which unfortunately have been postponed until now.
Qualcuno dice che dopo la seconda Guerra Mondiale, il paese o meglio il borgo ,abbia attirato numerosi artisti: pittori e scultori e che questi abbiano contribuito a valorizzare con le loro opere Il borgo stesso.
Some say that after the Second World War, the town, or rather the village, attracted numerous artists: painters and sculptors and that these have contributed to enhancing the village itself with their works.
