Oggi provo a spiegare nel modo più semplice possibile un concetto importantissimo per la gestione dei nostri token: che cos'è un crypto wallet.

Today I will try to explain as simply as possible a very important concept for the management of our tokens: what is a crypto wallet.

A crypto wallet is a tool for interacting with the blockchain

Esso può essere di diversi tipi:

• un'estensione browser (software wallet)
• una chiavetta usb (hardware wallet)
• un foglio di carta con codici QR ed indirizzi di portafoglio (paper wallet)

It can be of several types

• a browser extension (software wallet)
• a USB stick (hardware wallet)
• a sheet of paper with QR codes and wallet addresses (paper wallet)

Per spiegare l'utilità di un crypto wallet, ho provato a fare un'analogia rispetto al portafoglio fisico che abbiamo nelle nostre tasche, e che utilizziamo per custodire i nostri soldi di carta.

To explain the usefulness of a crypto wallet, I tried to make an analogy with the physical wallet we carry in our pockets, and which we use to store our paper money.

Per prima cosa ci rechiamo in banca. Qui preleviamo dallo sportello del denaro nella nostra valuta corrente (Euro è la mia valuta). Prelevato questo denaro, lo riponiamo fisicamente nel nostro portafoglio. Ora possiamo recarci nei negozi per spendere il nostro denaro che è riposto nel nostro portafoglio e lo scambiamo con la merce di nostro interesse.

First we go to the bank. Here we withdraw money from the counter in our current currency (Euro is my currency). Once we have withdrawn this money, we physically place it in our wallet. Now we can go to the shops to spend the money in our wallet and exchange it for goods that interest us.

Per comprare e spendere delle crypto possiamo agire in questo modo. Collegarci ad un Exchange come Binance (l'equivalente della nostra banca nel mondo precedente).
Da qui prelevare una crypto a piacimento, ad esempio SOL, ed inviarla al crytpo wallet compatibile con essa, ad esempio PHANTOM (il portafoglio fisico del mondo precedente).
Su Phantom, posso scambiare i miei token SOL con altri token della blockchain di Solana, come gli ATLAS, o i RAYDIUM.
A questo punto, è necessario collegarci ai siti della blockchain che "leggono" il crypto wallet PHANTOM, e connettere questo portafoglio ad essi. Questi siti saranno per la maggior parte siti della blockchain di Solana. Da questi siti, posso scegliere il prodotto che voglio e comprarlo utilizzando la valuta corrispondente per ottenere ciò che voglio.
Ad esempio, posso collegarmi a Solsea per comprare degli NFT ecc...

To buy and spend crypto we can do this. Connect to an exchange such as Binance (the equivalent of our bank in the previous world).
From there, take a crypto of your choice, e.g. SOL, and send it to the crytpo wallet compatible with it, e.g. PHANTOM (the physical wallet of the previous world).
On Phantom, I can exchange my SOL tokens for other tokens on the Solana blockchain, such as ATLAS, or RAYDIUM.
At this point, we need to connect to the sites on the blockchain that "read" the PHANTOM crypto wallet, and connect this wallet to them. These sites will mostly be Solana's blockchain sites. From these sites, I can choose the product I want and buy it using the corresponding currency to get what I want.
For example, I can connect to Solsea to buy NFTs etc....

Ogni blockchain necessita del suo crypto wallet

Each blockchain needs its own crypto wallet

Per la blockchain di Solana abbiamo visto che possiamo utilizzare Phantom. Per la blockchain di Tron possiamo utilizzare Tronlink.
In ogni portafoglio posso swappare i token per utilizzarli nei siti adatti relativi a quella blockchain.

For the Solana blockchain we have seen that we can use Phantom. For the Tron blockchain we can use Tronlink.
In each wallet I can swap the tokens to use them in the appropriate sites related to that blockchain.
