I'm from Venezuela, and I like to write in Spanish. I can converse in Italian but I don't know how to write in this language (although I did some basic studies of the Italian language). I just prefer to speak in Italian.
So I have decided to make this post in English so that several users can read me.

I have to confess that in many ways I’m linked to Italy. I have many friends whose parents are Italian. I have Italian friends who live or lived in Venezuela. My brother is married to the granddaughter of an Italian. My siblings on my father's side are the children of a Venetian. I have, at present, friends living in different regions of Italy. I like Calcio. I like Italian cinema. I worked in a cinema club called “Cine Club Ocho y Medio” in honor of the Fellini movie. I have friends from Argentina who are relatives of Italians. I love Italian food. Anyway, I just want to make another trip to walk around some vineyards in Tuscany and have a nice vacation.
I have traveled to Italy three times. Twice I traveled with tour groups and it was very stressful. Each person has their particular rhythm of life, and I did not match the tastes of my companions.
I like nature and culture. I can spend hours and hours enjoying a good wine with focaccia and cheese in a rural area. But when we travel in a tourist bus everyone wants to go to the Vatican, shop in malls, and take pictures in the Trevi Fountain. We have to adapt to the circumstances. That's nice but I prefer natural landscapes and visiting some museums and going to restaurants (even if they are humble).
The third trip was with my dad, and I fell in love with the Tuscany region. From this trip is the picture I put in this post.
San Gimignano was a place I liked. It is a village of medieval origin (I like to know these villages). The architecture is fascinating, and the streets of the historic center are very busy with tourists.
On this tour I visited Siena and San Gimignano. We traveled by private car and bought some artisan products.
The cheeses, spaghetti, ragu and gelato in San Gimignano are delicious. Checked by my palate!
I hope when you visit Italy you can go to this village. The people are very friendly but I suggest the spring season because in summer it is very hot and there are many tourists in the narrow streets.
