Con il bel tempo si accende la voglia di viaggiare e scoprire nuove cose, così vi propongo un simpatico itinerario virtuale tra le Statue Letterarie, che si possono incontrare in tantissime città, una passeggiata dedicata agli amanti della lettura!
Il nostro viaggio inizia a Londra dove troviamo ai Kensington Gardes la statua di Peter Pan, giardini molto amati dall'autore che qui trovò l'ispirazione per la storia di Peter Pan!

Sempre a Londra In Marylebone Road, troviamo la statua di Sherlock Holmes, e girando per la città varie statue dedicate ovviamente a Shakespeare!

Spostandoci a Dublino troviamo la statua di Oscar Wilde, proprio di fronte alla casa in cui visse da bambino. Questa statua fa parte di una decina di Statue Parlanti di Dublino che raccontano la storia del personaggio, scansionando il QR code della statua con un cellulare!

Girando poi per i quartieri di Trieste troviamo quattro statue bronzee, realizzate per omaggiare quattro importanti scrittori che hanno vissuto e amato la città, ossia James Joyce, Gabriele D’Annunzio, Italo Svevo e Umberto Saba.

Finiamo il nostro viaggio andando a New York dove nel bellissimo Central Park troviamo la statua di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie. Anche qui ritroviamo le Statue Letterarie Parlanti non solo però dedicate alla Letteratura!

Per il momento ci fermiamo qui anche se ci sono moltissime altre città da visitare dove trovare statue letterarie ma anche monumenti dedicati ai libri, le esploreremo prossimamente!
Quindi durane le vostre passeggiate in giro per il Mondo ricordatevi che potreste incontrare bellissime statue che raccontano e omaggiano grandi scrittori o famosissimi personaggi della letteratura!

With fine weather comes the desire to travel and discover new things, so I propose a nice virtual itinerary among the Literary Statues, which can be found in many cities, a walk dedicated to lovers of reading!
Our journey begins in London where we find the statue of Peter Pan at Kensington Gardes, gardens much loved by the author who found the inspiration for the story of Peter Pan here!

Also in London on Marylebone Road, we find the statue of Sherlock Holmes, and around the city various statues obviously dedicated to Shakespeare!

Moving on to Dublin we find the statue of Oscar Wilde, right in front of the house where he lived as a child. This statue is part of a dozen Talking Statues of Dublin that tell the story of the character by scanning the statue's QR code with a mobile phone!
