Si sente tanto parlare di economia circolare e transizione ecologica, ma nessuna idea in concreto, poi si scopre quasi per caso, che esistono tante piccole start up innovative che da sole cercano soluzioni alternative per salvaguardare il Mondo!

Come la start up Ananas-anam, fondata da una designer spagnola, che ha trovato un modo ingegnoso per recuperare il materiale di scarto delle piantagioni di ananas e trasformarlo in pelle ecologica creando “Pinatex” un materiale completamente biologico, biodegradabile e cruelty free!

Nelle piantagioni di ananas si producono 40.000 tonnellate di foglie ogni anno, ed essendo considerate rifiuti vengono bruciate o lasciate marcire.
Invece grazie a questa brillante scoperta, per produrre Pinatex, si possono recuperare circa 500 foglie per ogni metro quadro di tessuto, mettendo in movimento un riuso sostenibile ed ecologico di un materiale di scarto, che fa bene all’ambiente e all’economia, oltre ovviamente a migliorare e incrementare nuovi posti di lavoro nelle piantagioni!
Già tantissimi marchi importanti stanno utilizzando Pinatex, per realizzare scarpe, borse, abiti, oggettistica e complementi d’arredo.
Speriamo che sempre più aziende decidano di orientarsi verso questi nuovi materiali, che fanno del bene sotto ogni punto di vista!

Like the start-up Ananas-anam, founded by a Spanish designer, who found an ingenious way to recover waste material from pineapple plantations and transform it into ecological leather creating "Pinatex" a completely organic, biodegradable and cruelty free!

The pineapple plantations produce 40,000 tons of leaves every year, and being considered waste they are burned or left to rot.
Instead, thanks to this brilliant discovery, to produce Pinatex, about 500 leaves can be recovered for every square meter of fabric, setting in motion a sustainable and ecological reuse of a waste material, which is good for the environment and the economy, as well as obviously to improve and increase new jobs on the plantations!
Already many important brands are using Pinatex to make clothes, shoes, bags, objects and furnishing accessories.
We hope that more and more companies decide to move towards these new materials, which do good from every point of view!
