Da alcuni giorni a Roma ci sono temperature quasi estive, intorno ai 24 gradi con un sole caldissimo e un cielo limpido.
Piacevolissimo ma sicuramente non normale, e ormai è sempre più evidente che il cambiamento climatico, da tanti ignorato o addirittura negato si stia manifestando in tutta la sua potenza!
Dovremmo sbrigarci e fare il possibile per accellerare la transizione energetica ma nel nostro Paese siamo in grande ritardo, e chissà se riusciremo a raggiungere il traguardo stabilito dall’Unione Europea di energie rinnovabili al 32% entro il 2030.
Eppure secondo un nuovo studio pubblicato sulla rivista scientifica Science Direct, sembra che semplicemente ricoprendo di pannelli fotovoltaici i tetti di tutti gli edifici già esistenti in Italia, senza necessità di dover sfruttare nuovo suolo, arriveremmo facilmente a produrre circa il 30% dell’energia elettrica necessaria, oltretutto ad un costo inferiore!
Considerando poi che ci sono imprenditori disposti a spendere milioni di euro per progetti di impianti fotovoltaici già approvati ma in attesa da anni delle autorizzazioni, probabilmente potremmo ridurre tantissimo la produzione di energia elettrica da fonti fossili, riducendo tantissimo il nostro impatto ambientale.
Quindi sarebbe facile, servirebbe soltanto la volontà politica di mettere in atto una trasformazione epocale semplicemente finanziando l’istallazione di pannelli fotovoltaici sui tetti delle nostre case!
Considerando poi che il clima sarà sempre più caldo e che non mancheranno sicuramente i raggi del sole, l’approvvigionamento di energia elettrica almeno per le utenze civili non dovrebbe essere un problema!
Poi ovviamente ci sarebbero tutte le altre energie da fonti alternative, che non sono ne il gas ne tantomeno il nucleare, a cui i nostri politici stanno facendo l’occhiolino, ma questa è un’altra storia e ne parleremo prossimamente!

For a few days now, Rome has been experiencing almost summer temperatures, around 24 degrees with a very hot sun and a clear sky.
Very pleasant but certainly not normal, and by now it is increasingly evident that climate change, ignored or even denied by so many, is manifesting itself in all its power!
We should hurry up and do what we can to accelerate the energy transition, but in our country we are lagging far behind, and who knows if we will be able to reach the target set by the European Union of 32% renewable energy by 2030.
Yet according to a new study published in the scientific journal Science Direct, it seems that by simply covering the roofs of all existing buildings in Italy with photovoltaic panels, without having to exploit new land, we could easily produce around 30% of the electricity needed, and at a lower cost!
Considering that there are entrepreneurs willing to spend millions of euro on photovoltaic projects that have already been approved but have been waiting for years for permits, we could probably reduce the production of electricity from fossil fuels by a huge amount, thus reducing our environmental impact.
So it would be easy; all we would need is the political will to implement an epoch-making transformation by simply financing the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of our houses!
Considering then that the climate will be warmer and warmer and that the sun's rays will certainly not be lacking, the supply of electricity, at least for civil users, should not be a problem!
Then of course there would be all the other energies from alternative sources, which are neither gas nor nuclear, which our politicians are winking at, but that is another story and we will talk about that in the near future!
