Come vi spostate abitualmente?
Nella vostra quotidianità per andare al lavoro, accompagnare i bambini a scuola o qualsiasi altra uscita, vi affidate ai trasporti pubblici o vi muovete tassativamente con la vostra auto?
Io non ne sono fiera ma purtroppo mi muovo quasi esclusivamente in macchina!
Vivendo a Roma non è sempre facile spostarsi con i mezzi pubblici, la città è grande e mal organizzata e alla fine malgrado i costi prediligo la mia auto.
In molte città italiane probabilmente i trasporti pubblici sono meglio organizzati ed è più facile usufruirne, anche perchè si limitano molto le spese e si contribuisce ad inquinare di meno.
Infatti in molte città europee, dove i trasporti funzionano bene, già da anni hanno adottato la strategia di renderli gratuiti.
Proprio così, ci si sposta a costo zero!
Sembra che la prima città al Mondo ad azzerare il costo dei trasporti sia stata Tallinn in Estonia già nel 2013, per poi estenderlo in tutto il Paese nel 2018.
Poi nel 2019 è stata la volta del Lussemburgo e via via singole città in vari paesi europei.
Adesso è il momento della Germania che ha ideato un abbonamento di 49 euro al mese per spostarsi in tutto il Paese.
Quindi autobus, metropolitane, treni locali e regionali tutti compresi per spostarsi in modo illimitato e convincere i cittadini a lasciare a casa l'automobile.
Tutto questo per contenere e ridurre l'inquinamento, attuare un risparmio energetico e migliorare la vita dei cittadini!
Certo da noi sembra un miraggio con servizi pubblici inadeguati in moltissime città e con biglietti che aumentano malgrado il periodo economico non facile.
Ci vorrebbero scelte coraggiose e soprattutto una programmazione a lungo termine, magari i fondi del Pnrr che non sanno come spendere, invece di impiegarli in grandi opere che probabilmente resteranno incompiute, potrebbero investirli per migliorare il trasporto pubblico di ogni comune italiano, unificando il livello dei servizi e migliorare qualitativamente la vita dei cittadini!
Lo so sono una inguaribile sognatrice, però i sogni sono a costo zero e qualche volta si realizzano! ahahahaha

How do you usually get around?
In your daily routine for going to work, taking the children to school or any other outing, do you rely on public transport or do you move around absolutely by car?
I am not proud of it but unfortunately I move almost exclusively by car!
Living in Rome it is not always easy to get around by public transport, the city is large and poorly organised and in the end I prefer my car despite the costs.
In many Italian cities public transport is probably better organised and it is easier to use it, also because you limit your expenses a lot and contribute to polluting less.
In fact, in many European cities, where transport works well, they have already adopted the strategy of making it free for years.
That's right, you get around at zero cost!
It seems that the first city in the world to make the cost of transport zero was Tallinn in Estonia back in 2013, and then extended throughout the country in 2018.
Then in 2019 it was Luxembourg's turn, and then individual cities in various European countries.
Now it is Germany's turn, which has come up with a €49 per month season ticket to travel throughout the country.
So buses, metros, local and regional trains all included for unlimited travel and to convince citizens to leave their cars at home.
All this to contain and reduce pollution, save energy and improve the lives of citizens!
Of course it seems like a mirage here with inadequate public services in many cities and with tickets increasing despite the not easy economic times.
It would take courageous choices and, above all, long-term planning; perhaps the Pnrr funds that they do not know how to spend, instead of spending them on major works that will probably remain unfinished, could be invested in improving public transport in every Italian municipality, unifying the level of services and improving the quality of life for citizens!
I know I am an incurable dreamer, but dreams come at no cost and sometimes they come true! hahaha
